Today I was playing some CZ and suddenly I lost all my sound. First I thought it was my headset and that it needed new batteries. I put in some new batteries but still nothing. Then I thought, maybe my headset is broken. Got a new one but still nothing. So it possible that a soundcard can die and so? How can I try it?
:(
Allready found the problem. After checking my whole computer it seems that it set the volume control on 0% No idea how it could have changed that while I was playing. Sometimes computers are just weird... :dummy:
very strange indeed...
If a soundcard dies when there's no-one there, does it make a sound? :P

If a man speaks in a forest and there's no woman to hear him ... is he still wrong?
Well I was having problems, still can't see the fun of it DA..... :(
For the record if other people have no sound try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers first as this is sometimes the most likely cause of no sound. If that doesn't work remove the card and see if it works in another system.
