Wow, impressive. Makes Chronicles of Riddick look flat and 2 dimensional  :blink:

Nice character physics too - some of the most natural I've seen.

You really have to sit through the intro though, very atmospheric, this will not be one for the kiddies methinks ;)

I hear it's meant to be very short though - is it really worth a 600Mb+ download?

Also, the MP beta really sucked so I'm a little wary of this, no matter how much the humongous trailer they released rocked.

edit: oh my god the torrent is slow. Oh well, can't be TANGO'd finding a better morror.

But .. wasn't it all a bit pants and nothing new? About the only thing I thought was decent were the bulletholes, which use a neat effect I've not seen elsewhere. I guess the bolt-firing gun was fun too.

Everything else though was dullsville. You'd walk through a few empty corridors, step into a room, have a fight, then walk down some more empty corridors til you find another room to have a fight in.

The "horror" elements weren't as good as people were making out on another forum I read either.
