Im having probs with ntl at the moment :(, for a week now my box has the word "starting" in the bottom right with something turning. I cant select certain channels, i have like 20 channels avaiable and channel 4 aint working nor i sky1 and the sports channels :ranting: .
Both are box's have the same prob and they say well send a engineer out to replace the box, but how can they both be faulty? And then are internet is always playing up....
Rant over...
Any1 know any good internet providers and tv packages i was thinking of going to sky+
Lost is well worth the effort, great series with good twists. Watch out for Delenn from Babylon 5. I caught the whole series when I was in America earlier in the year

Pilot / Part 1 of 2
In a tropical jungle, Jack wakes up in agony. He is bruised, bloody and disorientated. A terrible memory flickers across his face. He winces back the pain and begins to run through the trees, reaching a beautiful beach.
He hears sounds â€" people screaming. He rounds a bend to find the wreckage of a plane crash, surrounded by survivors in shock. His doctor’s instincts kick in - and he runs to help those he can, rallying others to his aid.
After treating the injured, the able-bodied survivors rescue what they can from the fuselage, but the cockpit, where the radio transceiver is kept, is missing.
As darkness falls, a monstrous howl rings out from the forest. The tops of the trees shake, but eventually whatever is making the sound goes away, leaving the survivors marooned, exhausted - and now terrified.
The next day, Jack and Kate head into the jungle to look for the cockpit, accompanied by Charlie. Struggling through a torrential rainstorm they find the wreckage, where the apparently dead pilot regains consciousness.
The terrifying howls begin again - this time just outside the cockpit. And when the pilot crawls out to see what is making the sound, he is snatched up by a mysterious force.
Jack, Kate and Charlie run for their lives, but the pursuit ends as abruptly as the rainstorm. Retracing their steps, they discover the body of the pilot hanging from the top of a tree. They stand there, wondering what could do something like that...

Episode 2 Pilot, Part 2
Episode 2 / Pilot, Part 2
At the crash site, the survivors salvage what they can. Except young Walt, who is scouring the jungle for his missing dog. During his search he finds something unusual. A pair of handcuffs...
Back at the beach, Sawyer fights with Sayid, convinced that he's a terrorist. Jack and the others separate them, and it turns out that Sayid could have the skills to patch up the transceiver.
As a signal party sets out to transmit an SOS from high ground, Jack is called to tend to a horribly injured survivor who needs surgery to remove a piece of wreckage from his abdomen.
Meanwhile, still searching for his dog, young Walt comes across the mysterious Locke â€" who offers to share a 'secret' with him.
Up ahead, the signal party is attacked by a ferocious animal â€" which is shot by Sawyer. When they examine the dead animal, no one is prepared for what they discover...
Sawyer explains he got the gun from the body of a dead US Marshall. But where is the prisoner the dead man was transporting?
Back on the beach, Jack's patient regains consciousness â€" right in the middle of his primitive operation. Despite the pain, he is consumed by one question: "Where is she?"
At high altitude, the group are finally able to get a signal. But they can't transmit because another, almost incomprehensible message is being transmitted from the island. And when they finally decipher this distress call â€" they become more terrified than ever...
Almost as good as watching it
:roflmao:
Seriously though I'll check on digiguide when I get home tonight to see when they'll be repeated on 4 or E4...
PEN
(edit: added in spoiler to avoid getting a smack from Benny)
I watched the first part - and managed to avoid your spoiler Pen - I'll watch the second tonight.
Get Sky+, it's great.
I think Mats also recommended the Lost series a while back, so if it's good enough for our Scandanavian Aristotle, it's good enough for the rest of us plebs.
Seen it and liked it. One of the fewer good series over here in the NL.
