Benny:
I'm keen to replace my iiyama VMpro 454 - 19" and does silly resolutions like 2048x1536, but more importantly has excellent performance at 1600x1200@85Hz :D You can still buy them new for around £230, so I was asking for £110 ono.
Norm:
On the hardware front I'd like to see prices for some TFT's - 19" with DVI, and reasonably adjustable stands? vp191b, H481 L90D+, SM-913B, SM930BF, XA7-19i are the models that immediately spring to mind?
Excuse my ignorance OCZ is overclockers.co.uk? and OC overclock.co.uk? Is that right?
And Norm is OC, or is that IC?
OCZ is a maker of "probably the best" memory ever, ever, ever. ;)
OC is overclockers.co.uk and I use them as a baseline to compare my prices with as they are a popular online store for geeks like us.
I will sort some prices for your screens monkey. :) They will appear here soon.

Ehrm, bro, you'd better be of PMing Norm what would be nice. I don't think you'll buy a screen @ the LAN because I'm not taking it along with me in my lugage and I don't think Richard will aswell. Just PM Norm and he can tell you some info about TFT's probably. Otherwise search the forum a bit, there should be some info on it ...

yes, the XA7-192i - I think OCUK have it incorrectly listed as the XA7-19i. 7 day zero dead pixel warranty from xerox - now that's an offer I like! Finally they start to show some courage towards their manufacturing processes (that or they want to make a name for themselves fast ;) ) I am very very tempted by that screen!
At what point are you getting to the LAN? :D Let me check my finances and the reviews etc and I'll get back to you on the Xerox screen!

noooooooooooooo...
how much is the p&p on a Xerox then - which company do you use for deliveries? Or is there someone delivering stuff to the LAN no your behalf?
I could guess who SWMBO referred to, but I had to look it up, so in case anyone else is as ignorant as I: SWMBO = 'She Who Must Be Obeyed'
In my house its "SHE WHO MUST BE OBEDIENT.."
... yeap newly wed

...and then she comes accross this forum...
At least it isn't "She Who Must Be Obese" :P
It might be the XA7-19i not the XA7-192i after all, but xerox list two specs (plus a caveat that says the 19i comes with an optional other panel with only 6bit ...grr) for it on their website, one at 8ms and one at 20ms
just to confirm the £287 will get the latest 8ms model with the 8bit panel!? :)
why must companies do things like this, make me nervous! :)
