I thought a seperate thread for the drinking comp might be appropriate.
Obviously this is a marathon rather than a sprint, but I thought that we should employ a pacemaker in order to make a true attempt on the world record.
I would like to nominate 9Slice. He really is something of a pace drinker. Excellent over a short sprint, but soon losing his legs.
I did consider Dewey, but his legs can go at any time (not to mention his mouth).
Ranger of course would be a contender, but cant buy drinks!
Obviously those arriving before BIG can prepare how they like, but I do hope that the competition doesnt start for real until we arrive.
And guys you dont need to worry I only get violent on homebrew.

Message to BIG fellas. I don't know what kinda LANs you've been to. but this is probably not like one of them. We have spelling Bs, a crochet evening and poetry readings as well as a little CS.
Drinking? I thought it was all about the games. I, for one, will be in bed by 10 ready for an early start.
Pepsi for me...Might try the odd lager shandy if im feeling a little adventurous (Obviously a 80% Lemonade 20% Lager mix.... im not crazy)

If your gong to be playing drinking games then i have the perfect aperatife to compliment the gallons of beer. Its called a yuka drink.
ingredients:
1(or two) bottles of vodka
one bag of ice
6 lemons and lines
1/2 bag of sugar.
one empty water container (capable of holding bag of ice)
one towel
strong arms.
30 minute shake.
Basically once you've bunged all the ingredients into the water bottle and shook it for 30 minutes you get super chilled lemonade, neat vodka lemonade to be exact. Great for getting your party guests performing party tricks.
Essentially you gulp down as much of it as possible before your teeth freeze to the water bottle, which after a 30 minute shake is like the ice pole.

That's a bit complex for me...
I usually just drink until liquids start coming back out of my various bodily holes!
This is usually a good indicator that I am full.
