cripes, that was quick! I only just managed to sort out going to a little downgraded (http://www.downgraded.net) lan next month (all old mates, I have truoble persuading them to join the dMw community though, they're scared to be more than [dg] ... sigh :rolleyes:

Yeah, Ranger, 9slice and Paddy do it all the time, those crazy guys!

Still the BIG guys enjoyed playing 'plug the dolphin' with you while you where asleep...didn't you notice the fins in the morning :dribble: ... and you thought you where walking funny because of your large testicles... :ph34r:

Well...I'm preparing already...

I have my bag layed out in our spare room and have made a list of stuff to bring this time.

I am going to experiment with some of those specialist gaming 'caffiene' drinks so I can stay up the whole two days this time AND I will have a new computer with me that will actually have a light or two on it!

:)

I may even ask my mum to do some baking so I don't have to get up our of my chair for meals!

...I like rock buns!

I will also take some of those eye cover things so I don't have to endure the sight of BIG-Paddy coming out of the bathroom first thing in the morning in just his leopard-skin thong!

PS - did anyone notice that BIG-Paddy fell asleep in the game room? He was actually snoring at one point (2.30am on the Saturday night).

Just give me enough time to get a decent comp together... One that wont explode when trying to connect to a server.

It's hanging in there but i can't face the embarrssment of taking it to another LAN and having Cadaver looking insulted at how bad it is whilst he tries to get the ram to work in it. :blink:

heh, and I should still be battling on with the same rig, though by then I shall be planning my new one in earnest (I say this now of course, but who knows how long I will be able to hold out!)

At one point the thing wouldn't POST after I'd fiddled with it, and I thought I'd gone and busted it... :rolleyes:

Somehow I don't think "Sorry Tox, I've knackered your PC - fancy a pint?" would have cut it...
