BF2 BUNKBUSTER DOWNLOAD (http://www.punkbuster.com/index.php?page=updatepb.php)
go down about half way until you see 'pb.exe'  or 'pb.zip' choose which one, then  downlaod it into your BF2 folder then the PB folder ---- C:\ProgramFiles\BF2\pb


it should stop you getting kicked form punkbuster.. 'error Punkbuster'

i couldnt stay in a server for more than 10 seconds..

i downlaoded this put it in my BF2 folder then the PB folder ---- C:\ProgramFiles\BF2\pb

I had major prob lems to last night :(

Kept geeting punted by Punkbuster with the message that I was being booted because of a corrupted files memory or something like that.

Is this the same issue?

I've just been on the server for the last 15 minutes and left voluntarily. :) I've done nothing to my installation at all. I know that's no consolation, just to let you know it's ok with the auto updates.

Cheers guys - I have to admit that my girlfriend did have a virus problem the day before. SO this may be the cause of the problem...*

I just have to work out how to repair the damage - is it PunkBuster itself or BF2. Will I have to do a reinstall...

Gulp - I hope not!

* Was rather funny - though serious - she was on a site that had been hacked, and tried to download a pdf form - but instead of downloading the expected form clicking on the link openned a plethera of hard core porn links!!!

She ended up screaming down to me to help! As quick as she tried to close the windows new ones opened!

:) (Not really funny - but at the same time quite amusing! I got to tease her about downloading porn!)

I suspect that also a trojan had been downloaded as well. I did a clean up and a disinfect - but I think the damage had already been done!

punkbuster kicked you for error memory/file  .. or something like that ...

Same problem as doris and Ranger, every server I went in last night, I get booted with punkbuster corrupt memory error  :(

Due to a glitch on our master servers, many players are getting kicked this evening for violations #81104-81107 in error. Admins should ignore these violations. The problem has been corrected at the masters and PB servers will stop kicking for these violations as their local caches are updated over the next few minutes.
