Just thought I'd check...
Anyone on tonight, and also how is the server set up at the moment?
Is it still small maps just now?
I will be in the server from 8pm to check out who's there - and thereafter (if no one turns up) in the [TG] 64 player server...
BUT...
I will be on X-Fire so if anyone turns up later and needs people in the dMw server please message me and I'll be right there (I'll check X-Fire to).
Hope to catch up with you guys!
:)
i may be on as ive had a weird shift of nights (start at 16.30 - finish whenever) as this week ive been finishing at 20.00 ish
get paid 24 hrs a day so its cool
I'll probably be there though I might be a bit late.
Yeah, should be done by then and I will read the server front page before I join tonight.(Sorry guys)
Dunno what it is on the server tonight - BIG-Paddy says it is still small maps/Infantry only...
But we shall see.
Wake Island on AAS would be a good idea.
Assuming BB has done the business!
I shall be there...apart from a 10 min break @9.00 to pick up Tox
Then we'll both be there...
The server is set to standard small maps as we have no AAS at the moment. we need OB or BB to turn it on.
wake island is on the rotation
Will be there if I can get the techno-geeks to open up a firewall port or 20
What an absolutely fantastic game at the small gulf of Oman. Best game ever. It was really going back and forth!
cracking game. just shows AAS is not needed on smaller maps.
GP30 + Ranger = :yell:  :help: :dummy:

Sorry guys!
I was watching what I was doing though and I did do my fair share of single shot sniping with my AK47 too!
...But - yes - I did seem to do a good few 'nade kills.
Well played opposing team - you made us work!
And you are right - we don't need AAS on teh small maps - or APCs, or tanks or aircraft!
:)
sorry I missed it ...got into a session....you know :P
 Was very good tonight boys, you put up a good fight but we kicked your arses in the end :P
I had a good nade kill as well, shame that it was my squad leader. Soz Ranger!

Erm, yes...
You actually got me twice - were you trying to tell me something?
;)
Yeah, last night was really great, although I got killed a lot on Oman. At one time I actually hit my keyboard in frustration (I would have hit Armitage if I could - or at least stick his M24 up where it doesn't belong :P ) Dag nammit, he killed me a lot...
Then I started playing as medic, trying to keep Ranger alive, and it seemed as though it actually made a difference?
But i've really got to find out a way of not getting killed so often.

And much appreciated it was too...
Trouble is when I play Squad Leader I find it hard to keep my head down and not get involved in the action! Really I should stay back a bit and try to stay alive!
Just can't help myself - if I see an opportunity to flank or see the enemy trying to flank us I always find myself shooting off. Sorry guys.
We had a nicely ballanced team last night - and that's what kept us going. Although next time I play squad leader I may try to play medic or support and stay a little further out of the action.

I know what you mean Ranger, but I have come to the conclusion that engaging is a must with so few players. If you lean back and support only, then it is one less player to fend the enemy of and with so few players it really matters. So yes it must be moderated, but still engage, imho.
