Well, think this one had it all .....worst thing was the server ...... 500 pings at one stage !!!!!! this has gotta be the worst its been yet ...laggy as hell ...ridiculous ...then they won the first half 8 - 4 adn wnated to swap a player ...we said no...the only reason they could give us is "but he really wants to play" !!! jeez ...wot we in ??? a playground FCS !! then they dropped a player @ 3 -3 ..we asked where he went ...they said "carry on ...we dont need him anyway" LAST THING THEY SHOULDA SAID !! ...we played like men possessed until the very last round where we needed the last one for the win ...but we just failed ...they only really had one decent player who got 70% of their kills ...mainly me through the house !! but ...dont think we will bother with these again ... they will be asking for our HLTV ...cos they were asking if it was on ..halfway through whebn we were ripping them to pieces as CT ... just a feeling !! Oh and one more thing ...the TK'ing in spawn stops now ...I FIRMLY BELIEVE IF WE HAD NOT HAD THAT AT THE START OF THE CHANGEOVER WE WOULD HAVE WON THIS MATCH ....THERE WAS NO TIME TO TALK TACTICS BECAUSE OF THE GUNFIRE AND PEOPLE DIEING .....ANYONE WHO DOES IT IN THE FUTURE WILL NOT PLAY AGAIN FOR A WHILE THIS IS NOT ON !!! If this comment offends anyone in admin land then do what ya will .....

the one thing what really got my back up was the visiting team telling us what and when to do stuff........i mean come on.... :ranting: Still, a wierd match this especially when i ended up on my desktop while defusing the bomb,,dont know what happened there :angry:
What was the problem with HLTV? We're they trying to say someone's watching it while your playing or something?

For those of you with RCON that adkin a match you could always use set the server to disable friendly fire and set movement speed at zero.
sv_maxspeed 0 (normally set to 320)
mp_friendlyfire 0 (normally 1 for clan matches)
Basically they'd have to sit there in their own spawn and be quiet, just don't forget to set em back as they should be.

Doesn't offend me. It SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING. Feel free to name names but as Madness says, if you don't want to play just keep doing it and see what happens. As SL you don't have a lot of time to organise tactics so you cannot afford for people to be dicking around in spawn.

As to pings I'm not sure about that. Normally when we start baldric we set the process to run at HIGH rather than normal. baldric was already started when I checked the server last night so I didn't check to see if the process had been set HIGH. I will check in future though - apologies if it was an admin hiccup :(

It offends nobody in Admin land. In fact we whole heartedly support your comments. dMw is about playing the game with the right attitude and it says a lot about people when their behaviour lapses/reverts to type like this :(
Keep it sensible folks, matches need concentration and slick teamwork - neither of which you'll get whilst hopping round in a spawn-killing frenzy like a post-venereal fever-riddled bitch of a frag whore. :ranting:

I checked the server tonight and Baldric was running at normal server priority. I have edited the server batch file so that whenever one of us starts Baldric it will start automatically at HIGH priority on the CPU which will hopefully avoid that happening again. Apologies!

Having just watched through this again I have to say he is really crap even with all his cheating. I think congrats to the guys for getting the draw and well done for the HLTV/AVIs

Just had a pop into #edadmins and had a chat with Tut. I can't see the guy who cheated as part of e-gamin anymore but I've heard nothing back from any admins so it seems they may well be looking into it still.
Incidentally since we accepted the result it's unlikely we'd get anything done about the 12-12 draw we had with e-gaming.
last time I saw something similar ...the CL posted on their overview section on ed apologising for the matches played with the cheater in ....dont think they voided any of the scores .... but then again ...is that fair if the rest of the clan were unaware of the cheating ??? :whistle:
unfortunately I neglected to get a screeny at the very start .... wish I had TBH as a few of their names for the match did not match the clan roster .....( as a check later proved )!!
still learning this match responsibility thing ....and its all experience as we go along ... :blush:

No problems, just I wanted to pass them onto another server admin to give him some ideas to look at.
