Turns out to be some arsehole on a home (I imagine) connection from:

route:        80.217.0.0/16
descr:        Chello Broadband Sweden
origin:       AS6830
mnt-by:       CHELLO-MNT

1. Has anyone else had mail like this?
2. Has anyone given out deadmen addresses to swedish spammers? (If so I will be be very TANGOing angry.)
3. Either way, can whoever is in charge of receiving mail for deadmen.co.uk drop the entire 80.217.0.0/16 netblock into the spam filters?

I have the email at the moment and we are runing it via a mail forwarder not a dedicated server, so I'm afraid you'll have to use your own spam filters.  I can't say if I had one myself as my email goes through two different sets of spam filters before it gets to me.  I suspect the reference to CS/CZ may well be coincidental.

As to why the email addies are out there in the wide world, I guess they have been listed on several websites in plain text in the past (if not still currently) and I guess that like all plain text email addies on webpages they are subject to the attention of bots.  Either that or one of your mates has fallen foul of some email addie stealing software.

Sorry Doggers, I'm not sure what else I can do.
