I started steam today and was going to go play some cz. When cz launched my firewalls were telling me hl.exe / launcher had changed since the last time it ran. I would expect this after an update but I dont think there was an update today. Any of you fine gents got any ideas on this? I have granted it permission but am wary now of actually playing. Im off to have a look on the steam forums incase its something simple i have missed/forgotten about.

what is the make of the firewall, if it is mc afee like i used to have, then i had the same problem. for a temp solution i just switched it off, and when i couldnt find any help i upgraded to black ice and uninstalled mc afee

its not free but it is great althou the only snag is you have to turn of data execution protection, cause if you dont it will bsod or turns off the comp. since i turned of dep it runs like a dream
