Title: Xmas gift ideas...
Post by: Ranger on December 03, 2005, 06:01:12 PM
My girlfreind is always complaining that I am rubbish at telling her what I would like for Xmas...

So I thought it would be a laugh if we were all to list ONE item each that we would find fun to have on Xmas morning.

Here's mine:

USB Powered Air Darts £19.50 (M&S)

You connect this to your compy and aim it using your mouse! Fantastic!

Office desk war machine! (http://www.marksandspencer.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Section_Id=8349&Product_Id=1900505)

Here's another good one...

Alarm clock wakes you with a noisy hovering chopper

This alarm clock launches a small, noisy helicopter to hover over your bed when it goes off: Blowfly - December 2 2005 (http://www.yankodesign.com/product_info.php?products_id=641)

Amazing - I want one!

A bit wierd, but I like it (bit more interesting than a lava lamp!)...

Groovetube

The Groovetube is a piece of plastic that clips on to your TV set, turning the image into a handful of giant square pixels.

Haven't found a UK supplier .... YET!

Oooooohhh - just found this, wouldf LOVE this!

Dovo - 7 Day Open Razor Set

" Brand new set of 7 open razors from Dovo Germany.
The blond wood box with clasp contains compartments for seven open razors. The razors are Dovo brand with imitation tortoiseshell handles as shown, with 5/8 inch carbon steel blades...

The tradition behind sets like these, is that working men would sharpen them at the weekend in order to have a fresh, sharp razor on demand each morning, before work, when time was short."

I already have a lovely DOVO Ebony to shave my head - best thing I ever bought!

But having the seven day set would be the ultimate...I could sit there on a Sunday, watching Songs of Praise sharpening my cut-throats! Just like Grandad Jack used to do!

Ahhhhh....

:)

Straight razors available from The Gentleman's Shop (http://www.gentlemans-shop.com/)

(On a serious note: these give you the BEST shave you have ever had - mainly because you daren't RUSH it!)

I gave my Italian gf something cheap but she really really liked it.

I know the kind of music she likes and I knew about a really good Dutch band called Racoon.
So I made a Gmailaccount on her name, added a few MP3 of the band, and got a really good reply on that  :norty:
So if you need something cheap but which would get you loads of bomuspoints, then this is the thing.

Let me know if you need any MP3 of them. I've got them allready.
