i was just wondering wat happened to the little 5v5 mini league??
i thought it sounded like a good idea and there was alot of posative feed back, so....i was just wondering if it might happen. :)
I think it was put on hold until numbers are of a good number regularly...
I think we are about there ~ every night now seems to be able to guarentee 6 a side...HOWEVER...
The one main issue was how to choose teams!
When originally suggested I said that it would be great if we could do the mini-league in SET teams, to give it the competitive slant that a league suggests. But there were several people at the time who were strongly against this.
Maybe we should ask the questions again OR see if anyone has any suggestion on how we could run a mini-league to everyone's satisfaction?
(I still think set teams ~ 3 or four of them; two dMw, one BIG and one 'irregulars and guests')
League: Specified 'mini-league night', with two games held on that night - each team playing against each other twice (8 games in total = 4 weeks). Held on 16 player maps with time limit so games are finished in an hour.
How's that sound? (Alternative suggestions?)
