Here's one! (Sorry it's long but I *think* it's worth reading!)
Went over to TG to have a quick game tonight...Wake Island, played Special Forces on USMC side.
Had a good game taking out stuff, and nipping behind the enemy to take flags - was doing well.
Parachuted from a chopper into what I thought was an empty base (North Beach) - and snook through the houses to the flag...
To my horror I turned the last corner to run right into a Chinese jeep with three guys in it - one on the MG!!!
:help: ...Mummy!
BUT - the idiots DIDN'T SEE ME!
I swear - they were looking everywhere but at me (there was a lot of jets up and the MG guy was sweaping the sky).
So I took two more steps forward and placed a C4 right next to the jeep, and walked backwards towards the house again - all the time watching them with my detonator in my hand (was damn sure if they DID see me we were all going together!)...
I was JUST about to get clear and had - so to speak - my finger on the button ready to blow them all away WHEN...
'KKKAAAAA-BBBBOOOMMMMM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!'
ARTILLARY! FRIENDLY ARTILLARY!!!
My commander wiped me AND the three guys out!
I couldn't believe it - I was fuming! - I was JUST about to get the best C4 kill I had had and my own commander blows me away AND gets the points for the enemy kill.

i had a similar experience, parachuting down and was about to c4 a tank menacing everyone in the base and with detonator in hand slowly stepped backwards until my helicopter landed on me!!!!

I once jumped up and pressed E to get into a chopper coming down towards me, but I must have hit the bottom of the chopper too hard as he was coming down, 'cause that killed me :D
I was once sitting in the enemies base and took out 2/3 of his arty. I was commander so I put the supply at my location...really on my location. The supplycrate killed me... :blush: ...
First I was like: What, who shot me? Then it was: -=[dMw]=-DuVeL is no more...
I laughed so hard that my mom came upstairs asking what was so funny and I couldn't explain it to here. :roflmao: :lmfao:
ive still got to move my teamcomms key
at the mo its keypad5 and the enter exit vehicle is keypad 4
and ive had a few ocassions ion choppers where i have "left" it due to rushing to press the key
did that twice tonight on you lib Soz

Hehe, I have done exactly the same, leaving a chopper (even as a pilot), and I even use the standard 'e' and 'b' :lmfao:
Luckily I have never done that with passengers innit...
Did the key swapping thing once as passenger in an apc crossing a bridge. I wanted to warn the driver and jumped out of the moving vehicle and off the bridge as well instead... I'd like to see that happen to a soldier in real life :rolleyes:

I usually found out as the chopper hit the floor.
I do the same when I'm a gunner, I have 'w' as the alt fire mode and I use 'e' for vehicles.
My TV missle attacks usually end up with me splatted on the windscreen of the intended target. :( I'm more accurate at that than the missles themselves.
Is there a wiper and spray button for them? :unsure:
