Fantastic nights games....
Karkand turned into another really long session - nice to do the 64 player map for a change. Hard work though.
I thought we had the MEC at one point as we just had the Factory to take ~ but they fought us back to the suburbs.
Kept trying my best to leave Norm and Armitage nice Xmas presents on their tanks but they didn't seem to like it!!!
...Was just trying to make your tanks look festive lads! :)
Bit o' holly, smidgen of tarten ribbon...And some C4!
Kubra Dam was terrific too...Was on Norm and Armitages side this time, thought we did well just the three of us ~ still won even though they had the extra guys!
The little Mashur after (2 v 2) was fun too ~ Bloody monkey had it in for me!
Dewey won't be happy he missed these (had a badmington match) ~ and he will also not be happy as I was supposed to be trying out 'Call of Duty 2' which arrived today!
Thanks guys for a great time as usual...And some laughs too!

Strange cos I'm sure 'Armitage' was spelt 'L-i-b-e-r-a-t-o-r' on both of those maps.
Remember, I joined just as you were about to push on the last base in Karkand and joined MEC, shortly after we pushed you back to the suburbs and won. :narnar:
The other spelling of Armitage was playing as well at that stage. ;)
I'm totally unappreciated, nobody loves me! (http://home.btconnect.com/liberator/cry.gif)
epic 8)
64 player karkand is king. This may of been one of my favourite games. I think the whole battle took an hour and a half and I managed to score my first double century
Norm and I made an error during the game, when we were trying to cap the suburbs. the sneaky gits went and took the train wreck and before we noticed we were down to 2 flags. Lib joined us and then we dug in. for what must of been half an hour of. at one stage down to one flag. Then momentum changed at we had the train wreck back and the US were down to 20 tickets. Game Over and I needed a rest :toast: the last member of my team was himagain99, Played. I hope my SL rantings made some since :dribble:
Anybody up for a rematch sunday but 4 wheels only.

So sorry mate ~ this is why I don't normally name folk - because my memory is so crap.
Many apologies - you (and Norm) were both on terrific form last night. I couldn't keep up with either of you!
It was a terrific night ~ I glad Armitage X-Fired me to tell me to get my ass on the dMw server (I was actually going to spend teh evening installing and trying out 'Call of Duty 2' - glad I did otherwise!).
Again, sorry for the mix up Lib ~ It's my age!
:)
Good games, just shows how AAS can "shrink" such a large map. :)

yeah karkland was great fun, those apc's and the tank at the last mec flag come in handy dont they, as for the dam yeah we had more playerrs but apart from monkey and i the other 2 (forgot names hadnt seen them b4) went of in random directions and in the end had like a scores of about 12. As for monkey well played on the dam m8 we did hold them for a while but there tactics and superier team working (as in all them team worked 2gether) got the better of us.
all in all excellant night :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Yeah - well played last night Norm. You were a man possessed!
:)
Funniest thing for me last night (apart from my C4ing!) was the amount of times we shot Sulky and his helicopter down on the Kubra Dam map (lower Dam flag)...
LMAO ~ I took him out three times, two of those just with my AK! (Shot him a few times then he crashed into the damn wall!)...
:lmfao: (Sorry Sulky!)
~ I am beginning to get the hang of that SpecOps class! LOL

yeah m8 good shooting although i had a problem with the helo last night its whats technically called "THE STELLA INDUCED FLAT SPIN EFFECT"
once you got camped in under the dam it was hard to get you and the helo was ystill taking you out but not at a verY good ratio

Yep...
Actually that was luck on our part (the opposition) ~ or good timing!
I was SL at that point ~ For some strange reason (I don't know why) but you guys shot off towards the Suburbs without completely capping the Train Wreck flag (why?)...
Anyway ~ I told 'my' guys to rush the Gatehouse and I stayed and re-capped the Train Wreck AND THEN blew the bridge behind us - as I knew you'd be back down the hill after us!
It all worked terrifically well - and got us onto the other side of the river where we *nearly* had you but you made a fantastic come back from the Factory - eventually pushing us back to the Suburbs...(You had the advantage of constant armour support from the factory.)
We did hold out hope that we would dig-in at the suburbs and hold out ~ but by that time you had too many tickets.
Well played ~ but also well played my squad who did some terrific defence stuff at the Cement Factory and the Gatehouse. On a ranked server people would have just given up ~ but you guys stuck it out to the end and didn't give an inch without a fight...
I never mind losing when it's like that.
Norm, Armitage and Liberator just ha thier sh*t completely together last night and played extra, extra well, so at least we lost to a really 'hot' team.

The only reason I normally remember who I've played with is because someone posts a game report.
It was still fresh (as fresh as a bottle of wine will allow) in my mind last night so I remembered. Otherwise I would have been reading it 12 hours later and thinking, "Damn I wish I'd been playing last night!"
The train wreck was being a bit strange last night, when we did the push back it still didn't capture. We all had to move out of range and back in again for it to work.
Sulky + Chopper + Kubra Damn = (http://home.btconnect.com/liberator/haha.gif)
We just kept shouting 'pull' and a Sulky powered chopper would arc over the horizon while we all opened fire on it.
Do you remember when you trashed an APC in the lower dam and decided to fly the chopper in. I was hidden in there behind the wall with a tank.
Comment from me, "Sulky is gonna have a hell of a surprise in a few seconds" and I'm sure there was a little surprise on the characters face as the shell exploded in his face. :roflmao:

He must've been getting lead from all directions - as I was actually ABOVE him at one point (I had climbed up a ladder to get to the top of the dam)...
If only I had had an AT - all I could do was spray his cockpit with my AK!
But it did the trick (I must've got the last bullet in before he died as I got the credit)!
...I was so close I could've jumped onto his chopper! That would have been a laugh ~ wonder if anyone has ever taken a chopper down with a knife before???
:)
Still he got me back ~ I was on the platform near where the chopper spawns half way up the dam...When Sulky bailed from his chopper...He landed right next to me and shot me!
:ranting:

I had to read that line twice.
Good job you sometimes check your spelling, otherwise we would have enticed Benny over from the other forums.
yeah you guys played well, my 4 bladed death banana and drink induced flying controls just werent geling well together, if there was ever a clan match at the dam the tactics you guys used last night were spot on :thumbsupsmileyanim:
