A really good 1. On publics I try and be commander alot.

I do would like to know how some commanders can say to head over to a certain base (if there are no VoiceComms).

On the CO note, if you guys could have a commander with no assets would it be useful to you? Mainly I'm thinking out loud about still having the squad to squad co-ordination.

select squad, issue order "attack here, defend there, move that way" and hope the SL accepts it really... or did I miss the point of the question? :)

I think it would be most useful. How about trying it? Disable the artillery and the UAV, and settle for the scan sweep and the comms?

or try using teamspeak again, but having 2 channels, one for each team? Tricky to implement if you have to change teams often, but could work well otherwise?

commander can only speak to the SL? Personally I'd miss the banter :)

AHHHHH - I forgot about that - excellent idea. That way if we have more than one squad teh SL can still co-ordinate the two squads.

That answers the other thread I put up about a 'Commander Night'

:)
