What do y'all think of the new series then?
I think most of it is hilarious and i loved the first two series; most of the sketches are funnier than ever but loads of my friends have been telling me i'm completely wrong and that it goes too far with some of the jokes...
Any one agree with me?
Nah, it's all good, tell your friends they are uncultured fools.
(Not as good as the League of Gents, but then nothing will be...

Each to their own. I reckon about half of LB is funny, and the rest just goes a *bit* too far. LoG I thought went too far all the time, and I absolutely hated it.
I also hated JAM, which various of my friends love. Anyone remember JAM? From some of the same people who made Brass Eye, and Brass Eye was classic!
"Amazing as it may sound, paedophiles can make your keyboard release a noxious gas that makes you or your children more open to suggestion"
*sniffs keyboard*
"I can feel myself getting more open to suggestion as we speak"
:roflmao:
Yer LoG was v funny. I also like the fast show and catterick, now that was hilarious.
I think that LB does go too far in some places. The fat women for example. You always know what coming and you know its over the top -- but you cant stop watching. Maybe thats the art of it. In the end it is sick, but funny too and i cant get enough.
I think the latest series still needs to warm up a bit to get as funny as the previous two ..
but hey ....what do I know ??
;)
Emperors new clothes syndrome.
It just isn't funny.
does anyone remember the Harry Enfield Sketch with the Father-in-law...
"you shouldn'a gone down the M11"
"I didn't"
"yeah..You shound'ta gone downe the M11 though"
"but I didn't"
repeat ad nausium....
at the time (and this was when we all stayed in to watch tv shows)...I thought he pushed it as far as it could go...but then he pushed it some more.... I went from thinking "this is crap" to, 1 minute later thinking " this is genius"
humour...like art, is hard to pin down IMHO
it takes all sorts :P
Indeedy - brass eye was funny, creature comforts is f!$%^*ng hilarious, little Britain is tired, and unfunny. The hunour went after a couple of epsodes of series 1. It is the same gags in a different context every week. Bring back Morecambe and Wise.
Incidentally the play of the "Play what I wrote" and the musical "The Producers" are both absolutely excellent!
