Looks rather nifty to me - no need for hardwired aerials etc!!

PEN
I've had one of these (http://www.twinhan.com/product_terrestrial_3.asp) for a while now. At the time it was the only one I could find that was USB for a reasonable price.
The little aerial looks the same as the one I got with mine, its useless where I am, so mines plugged into the main aerial.
Would you need to buy a TV licence to use it?

If you use a TV or any other device to receive or record TV programmes (for example, a VCR, set-top box, DVD recorder or PC with a broadcast card) - you need a TV Licence. You are required by law to have one.
Rubbish <_<

maybe so, but that's the law.
Bah, the law's for girls - how are they gonna find a small USB dongle anyway!?
Did you know they cannot if found that you are using an aerial without a license force entry into your house. The only way in is if you let them in. Otherwise they need a warrant!
