Okay, I see I have nubby questions, and will no doubt think of more:
1) AAS? Whassat?
2) What time/days are you lot on the server?
1) Advance and Secure. Means you have to capture the flags in a specific order.
2) Most nights from about 20:00 onwards.
3) (rhetorical) Why is the server broswer such utter balls?
4) Either: How do I add the dMw server to my Favourites? or: Do you lot use some other server browser/game launcher thingy?
just find the server and then theres a little button at the bottom just above the filters where it says add to favorits so click that and it in your favorits place. i think the server is now called the meathook and alot of us use Xfire so you can just click join game when you see someone else on the server.
and i have another question too, how to download my u dont have? how do u add ur xfire name to my? or if nicely u can add my name to urs. initialdko is my name
5) Does BF2 have some sort of lag prediction in its netcode, or do I need to lead targets to compensate? I find I'm much better at killing in single player mode.
5b) Does BF2 have some kind of ballistics modelling going on (I know snipers' bullets are affected by "gravity"), or is it mostly hitscan-based? (i.e. Do I need to take ballistics into account with further regard to leading targets?)
your much beter at killing on the single player mode because they arent human player. so online games are more fun and are also the players are unpredictable. this is why i think you will be beter at killing poeple on the single player. ;)
5b) its hard to see quite far in the game so i think that it doesnt make much differnce., just aim for the head so they die in 1 shot, and i think thats it realy. :)
