positioned throught the front grill which looks ok but it really needs 2 to pull off the look better.
soon there will b a multipul of windows appearing in the side
i managed to put the new heatsink and fan on, it was easier with the mobo out.
there are also 2 high flow thermaltake fans as an exaust and the standard chieftech fan intake on hte side.
thats 5 fans without counting psu fans, and ive only had it a day!
Nice buy Sheepeh, looking forward to seeing some photos of the WIP....

Idea 2 looks a bit too complicated. I'd stick to the simpler shape of idea one mate.
BTW, are the sides bowing inwards with all them fans?
oh yeah, I've actually cut a case myself before.... just did the simple square with rounded corners... can give some pointers if I can remember.
i did all the cutting myself on my old case so i should b ok.
the trick it to cover the cutting area in masking tape ive been told, i wish i had a dremmel, i have to use a normal electric sawe thingy [cat rember name]
the 2 fans on the back are exhaust the front and side are intakes

this is the wiggley window that i was one about [slow 2 load] but its in hte top post.
drememls so suck.... they are kind of free-hand, while using a good quality jigsaw on a very high ossilation with a godo quality blade kind of guides its self...... of course its crap for those tight corners :-)
thats why i need a dremmel, of course i could always just get a circle cutter for fan holes and just use a drill. my only reservation with using a jigsaw is that last time it chipped the paint work around where i was cutting.
The trouble with being posh is that you aint got mates that work in factories, you see if you had then you'd have access to a plasma cutter that can cut precise shapes in steel to perfection.
Oh well lads, you stick to your funny shaped balls and drinking in wine bars. :P
i not feckering posh u tit, i just dont happen 2 no ne 1 with a plasma cutter, i no a couple of ppl that can weld tho.

You are not nice people...any of you
For God's sake sheepy don't cut a word into your case, cos chances are you'll misspell it
that was another option, but it would b more like a sentence
BANG! [headshot]
WTF !!!
MOFO !!!
H4X !!!
i have decided to go with the 2 smaller windows as if it all got tits up then i can just make it in 2 one big window ne way.
another thought that was put in2 my head by my little sister was to put a small window in the other side in the gap between the cd drive and the powersupply thus meening u can c straight through!
