Title: Problems
Post by: DuVeL on January 01, 2006, 04:49:34 PM
Hi guys, I did a complete scan on my comp and it found this:
TR/Dldr.Agent.td.52
&
WORM/Ider.A.Rkit

I've been trying to solve it but can't get them off. Anyone got any suggestion?
I'm using SpybotDoctor and Spybot. My antivirus is AntiVir6

Thanks Mike. It also seems that I have this thing called SpyAxe:
SpyAxe is an anti-spyware application that may be distributed and installed without a user’s knowledge or consent. The installed application functions up to the point when a user wants to remove a found infection, at which point the software requires purchase. The software may falsely alarm about infections, even prior to conducting a scan.

Thanks for the reply, I had that solved. I also found out how to get rid of SpyAxe: LINK (http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic36868.html)

Been a lot of talk about spyaxe recently, found this either directly on AXIA forums or linked from the AXIA forums.

QuoteFound the cure to the SpyAxe popup activity! I actually got desperate enough to complain last night through their website email form. Tonight I got a reply from them stating a lot of complaints came thru due to affiliate's illegal advertising of their product. They provide a simple fix that really worked. Here is the instructions they sent:
------------------
In order to clean your PC from infections related to Spyware Axe product, please follow the instructions below:
1) Save Uninstallers.zip from http://www.spyaxe.com/uninstall/uninstallers.zip (http://www.spyaxe.com/uninstall/uninstallers.zip) to your desktop or HDD.

2) Extract 2 files "illegal_adv_uninstall1.exe" and "illegal_adv_uninstall2.exe" to your desktop or your HDD using WinZip.

3) Execute both of them one by one by double-clicking with your mouse.

4) Reboot your PC

That SpyAxe thing was easy to get rid off. That: TR/Dldr.Agent.td.52 is still bugging me.

Is anyone familiar with the program HijackThis???
