...Found this -
Er, maybe I need more keys ~ there's still a little desk still showing!

Ergodex DX1 Customisable Controller (http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_4730.html)
....And here's something else which seems to make sense - after all, what else can you do with your feet while playing BF2?

Finally, a sure-fire parachute button ~ just stamp your feet to open!
:roflmao:
Well Ranger and I have bitten the technological bullet and ordered two of the Ergodex DX1 input systems.
Yes, 120 quid is a LOT to spend on a peripheral, but we did a lot of research on it before deciding to buy one. Having read the Ergodex website particularly the forum and checking out all the web reviews it seems like the best solution to us. I'm hoping it will replace my Nostromo.
The software in particular looks excellent, you can record macro's in-game and the advantages of having keys exactly where you want them with the ability to customise them to your hearts content looked too good to not try out.

Also it can be used with any software, not just games. Judging from reviews on the Ergodex website, it seems hugely popular with FPS and your WOW type players as well as programmers/graphic artists/MSOffice users.
Will report back with a review including photos when we recieve it in a few days.
£120 for a 2 key keyboard? Well OK it's programmable but it is in effect a 2 key keyboard.
I think I might try to get the cheapest USB keyboard I can find, and rip off all the keys apart from the left control key, stick it on the floor then bind CTRL to "talk" so I have a nice PTT foootswitch :D It'll cost a lot less.
