I rented Danny the dog (aka Unleashed) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0342258/combined) the other day.
With actors Morgan Freeman, Bob Hoskins and Jet Li and the movie produced+written by Luc Besson my expectations were not easy to fulfill. However, I did hav ea gut feeling that I would be disappointed partly because of those high expectations, but also because of the poor choice in director.
It also turned out to be true. But mostly for one reason - dialogue. The lines are so bad that I cannot go with the flow and let myself venture into the movie and forget that it is just actors.
On a side note - Bob Hoskins was good and considering the conditions I would say he was great - "My mum used to say..."
