first time played SAK2 - cool map - the best even
sak2 was probably the best bf2 game ive had since the crimbo comp, lots of team play, cant wait till next mon for a repeat, well played the baddies and sorry dewey for sniping you so much :biggrin: and tk'ing you on the next map :sad:
Yes, another thumbs up fro SAK2, I think its my favourite map now. We always enjoy a good game on there.
Special mentions to Sulky and BIG-Paddy, if I died it was usually because either Sulky had sniped me or Paddy had GP30'ed me! Gits :D
The game was very close and we only just lost it but I have a cunning plan for next time!
Then we played Karkand and I switched sides... Sulky didn't seem to care though and TKed me about 4 times :blink: Though paranoia was setting in we managed to hold the first base quite comfortably.
Ah question: At the end of the SAK2 map, our team noticed 3 or so of our team swapped sides onto the winning sides, can I ask why you did that? We aren't playing on a ranked server so its not going to affect your stats? The guys that where left where quite bemused by it!
Oh and while playing SAK2 with my SA80 medic unlock, on going 1 on 1 I around the mosque vs the opposition, when I fired bullet holes where appearing on my screen and I couldn't shoot anyone, so I had to change over to my G36E unlock instead - weird, anyone else get this?
Another occaision I was on top of a roof with the SA80 and it was like I was firing at a wall, bullet holes appearing in front of me and I couldnt fire at my target though they could obviously shoot me. Which caused my untimely death on a number of occaisions.
Great games though you missed a cracker if you didn't turn up.

I've seen that before as well. it seems to be a map bug as it didn't matter which weapon I used (and none of them were unlocks)
It was a good fight on a great map...

probably over enthusiastic team balancing...y'know, when someone says "someone swap sides please" and before you know it 3 or 4 have gone :P

there are a few glitches on the unofficial maps (nothing new there then)...
Invisible walls (like in pub urinals) are on several rooftops...I spent ages trying to find a place to jump off one of em :blink:

Did they actually swap sides? I just thought we suddenly lost about 3 people off the server totally, without saying bye or anything, just as we were valiantly fighting for the last flag or so ;) I wondered if maybe someone had farted...

I didn't swap sides - I think for the first time ever I was the last person on our side with no flags to spawn on.
I tried to take on the several players on the other team but it really was a lost cause.

i pressed the mec button instead of the kit button, and then it wouldnt let me go back across to usa - as soon as i spawned as the evil MEC, i got in a transporter and got an AT rocket up me TANGO just as someone said - 'NO - AT behind you!!!'
a great map - i enjoyed the battles across the bridges best - im better at medium to long range fire than up close and personal - for me it seems more real hiding behind the bridge supports, returning fire and running into some cover behind a tree or upturned car - i suppose its just what you see on the news or films - and its great to be playing a game that has the much immersion in it

Blunt: did you actually manage to get on the roof from the vodnik on SAK. Saw you trying it a couple of times. Are there any other vehicle assisted roofs people have found?

I got onto the 1st roof ok, but then you have to jump onto a box on the next roof then a tank before you can do the final jump up onto the final roof... :ph34r:
I got as far as the last jump on several occasions, but each jump is a sprint/jump and I don't seem to have nimble enough fingers :blush:
I was US so it wasn't ideal as I had to nick the Vodnic from the square, but I will try again when I'm MEC
I might be playing tonight it all depends if i get kick off the sever for no reason at all :no2:
