Today it started, when i am playing cs, i suddenly am going to windows, and when i go back to cs it goes allright for a min or so and then i go back to windows again and so on and so on :angry: .
What can i do?????
Think back man, what have you done/changed/installed that could cause this?
Or just forget all that stuff and reinstall everything. :P

Is cs still active or do you have to start the game up again when you get back to windows??

If the game still goes on then i would say: Scan your pc for spyware as that is most of the time the problem when you get thrown back to windows and the game is still going on.
This has got nothing to do with the thread. I just noticed that the kid is leaning on a bottle of Duvel! :D
I get thrown back to desktop every 30seconds or so if i hit the windows key then go back to game.

It used to get this all the time.
For me I think it was something in my system tray i.e. printer monitor.
I close alot of crap in the try before starting CS/CZ.
But it happened to me again last night so I quit and rejoined. Was OK then.
If I ever alt-tab out of CZ and then go back in, it never stays in.

I had the same problem. Sometimes after clicking the CZwindow several times it would first go fullscreen, then back to minimised. After 3-5 times it would finally stay fullscreen.
And bro, try and have less backgroundprograms running is a good suggestion from Thulsa aswell...

Yes it still doesn't work ok. :(
It looked oke bud it started again tonight, so anyone help me out :dummy: .
My best guess, based on when the problem started, is that it is something to do with the latest update causing a conflict somehow. I know this sounds daft but can you try some older video drivers rather than the latest just to see if it helps (or even check to see if there are newer ones available that address this problem)
The only other thing I can think off is to wait for another Steam update :lmfao: but you probably don't want to do that ;)
I used to have the EXACT same problem. turned out Folding@Home was causing it. As soon as I killed F@H CS ran perfectly.

Had this too - only affected BF2 though, Cs wasn't a problem
me too thats why i dont fold any more, the seti one ran fine but the one we get so we can deadmen fold made my comp freeze, bsod :blink:
Now i had a new problem, my mouse got stuck in the game for a moment, this comes back every min or so. :(
Buy a new mouse.... :whistle:
