I am now starting the organisation for LAN IX and am looking for volunteers to fill the following posts:
LAN Network Admin - who can turn up on Friday morning and who will be responsible for making sure the switches are there, connected and configured properly for max speed and the cables all working.
LAN Server Admin - who will be responsible for setting up and configuring the servers before the LAN and then for running the required games at the appropriate times.
Pre-LAN:
At LAN: Armitage for BF2
At LAN: Tba for CS/CZ (Whitey in reserve)
LAN Secretary - the one responsible for all of those nice things, like a piece of card on your desk with your name, IP and gateway; making sure things run smoothly and getting pictures all weekend for the website afterwards!
Duvel, ably assisted by Pendragon
LAN Security - responsible for the room keys on those late overnight gaming sessions
Ninja_Freak
LAN Competition & Gaming Committee - to set the agenda for the weekend and decide which games anc competitions are to be played.

BlueBall
Whitey
LAN MC - the person who will be the vocal host for the long weekend - I'm getting old and want someone else to do the shouting whilst I sup wine with Doorman ;)
Ninja_Freak
LAN DOORMAN is DOORMAN - responsible for the consumption of epic quantities of wine and arguing over the quality of the 'a la carte' menu. Also usually provides free 'at the table' entertainment on Friday night. Most often found in a comfy chair with drink in hand. Least often found sober.
