Title: Mic?
Post by: ubique0712 on January 28, 2006, 06:59:30 PM
Hi Lads! A few of you will remember i tried the server the other night and had problems with my Mic so was forced to come and go trying to sort it?

It works in Windows setup and BF2 Setup, but when i go into a game it does'nt work?

So i exit and go throught the setup again...test and click apply and go back to the server and it fails again!???

It works perfect in COD 2 also so i have no idea what is going on there :(

Anyway i will keep trying and see you all when i do!

If anyone else has experienced this i would be interested how they resolved it?

Thank you

Ubique

I've swapped my battle comm key and my squad talk key, and every now and then BF2 decides it wants to be default <_<

my solution was to go and run: DXDIAG and then to sound and set the settings to basic sound and this works everytime for me. just remember to save the settings and you shouldnt have to do this again :)

Thanks lads, i will try unbinding to default and run my dxdiag.

I could hear you all talking, so no probs there.

Cheers!

Did you double check the Windows sound? Sometimes it puts itself back to a lower standard.

Latest sounddrivers yep but maybe latest graphicscarddrivers might help out aswell. Double check the settings from windows.
