Mine didn't work. I had to go Help/Check for updates...
Still on 1.0.7 here :( Can't get 1.5 to install on Fedora Core 4 :ranting:
I had to download manually.
TL.
weird, mine worked just fine. ;)
Just popped up in the middle of everything sayig a new version was out, and if i wanted to download/install it ;)
I checked for updates for extensions, and about 5-10 minutes later a window opened saying firefox was ready to download and update :)
My auto update didn't work, and the 'check now' button didn't work. It couldn't find an update. I had to go to their website myself and download it manually...
Mine's all gone weird now.
If I look at the DMW forum - I see no smilies at all nor any box on the left hand side of each sub group which used to say IPB.
Anyone got any ideas?
THanks

In combination with BB's post above, I think we've invented a new term for sobering up: "Emptying the cache"
I'm probably the only person who'll like that one though.
It could catch on... :tumbleweed:
back to the PENding crisis...
check to make sure your firefox isn't blocking images from the deadmen url? Clearing the cache might do it - I regularly get weird gif mixups on the hexus forums, but hitting the refresh button ususally clears those :)

Very good my young padawan..... Firefox was indeed blocking images from Deadmen.
No idea how nor why, but by righclicking on an empty spot where the image was there was an option to unclick blcoked images
Good call !

I end up doing that sometimes when I can't stand looking at someone's sig or avatar, I block it and then find out it was hosted on the local forums and I blocked it at the domain level....
