Okay, I know some people here like to make pictures aswell so I thought, "Why not start a thread about nice pictures all the forummembers made".
The once Dewey put about the cars were cool so here's a few I made on last years wintersport:

My nephew Brian:

I've hosted all the pictures at ImageShack, it's really easy to use and gives you links for the thmbnails and so.
Nice pictures bro 8)
Next year same again?! :dribble:
Brian (the one in the picture) will go skiing too. :D
:withstupid: I think brian is a little bit young for skiing do't you??

Nah, he searches the web for nice piccies then copies them :narnar:
I think I've said this before, as somebody who used to make some money from photography I'm well impressed with these Whitey :worship:
Thanks, It's a hobby I took up a couple of years ago. I'm having a go at portraits as well (I've setup a home studio to keep me busy when not playing CZ), but haven't posted any of the pictures yet. :)
So if any of you know some lovely ladies looking for a portrait done ;)

Nice pictures Whitey, makes mine look n00bish...
Some great shots there Whitey, you happy for me to steal a few as backdrops? I can tag them with your name if that would help?
Strangely I'd normally just go right ahead, but as I kinda know you it feels right to ask.
oh, and advice on how you got the lil lady on the swing. I'd like to get one of my daughter like that, any advice appreciated....

Your more than welcome m8.
I'll check the settings for the swing shot later but I would expect the shutter speed would need to be around 250 or faster for that shot. Wait for the top of the swing as there is a slight pause before coming back down, so you have a better chance of getting a good shot. Also getting down low ( I was sitting on the ground ) can help get rid of any distractions in the background, leaving just the sky.

Just me and my Les Paul.
The actual picture has notes on it in Flickr (click on the pic and go there). You can see the group of pics that went into this one here (http://www.flickr.com/search/?w=9007366@N02&q=%22les+paul%22+2008-04&m=tags).
I took an opportunity for Instrument Wednesday to do a B&W shot with the Les Paul at work (after hours). See Day53 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/rabbibob/2361535959/in/set-72157603837605024) in regards to the 'Cheap Lighting Setup' I cobbled together at work.
They are fantastic looking photos mate! :)

Some amazing pictures in here! :dribble: Photography does seem to be really popular these past years.
Our local papers' photographers' photos on the other hand are diabolical.
Excellent photos Whitey, hope you don't mind I sent the link to a mate of mine who has a photography degree.
Really ''charmy'' pics there Rabbi:norty: And damn beautifull pictures Whitey.
Those pics were bit old but now when I got to this thread I saw them too.
I haven't updated photo.net for some time but I'll try and get back to it and upload some newer pictures. Thanks for the nice comments :)
Thought you might be interested in these photos on my bro-in-laws website. He's currently based in the Rocky Mountains and will get up at 2am to walk 15 miles just to get shots which no one else has ever got!
The reason I mention him is that due to some bug or insect the trees are dying fast so he was over here (England & Scotland) recently to consider a new place for his photography business.
Hope you like:

He is a professional yeah and he uses top quality kit...One of his cameras takes immensely large resolution images...sooo large he gets them printed sometimes 6 or more feet wide without any loss of quality.

i really like the Brazen, the rest of the pics are pretty nice too
Basful bee is a really nice picture. Ant attack was violent:blink:
loving the macro stuff, the detail is immense.
Makes me want to buy a decent camera and sign up to a photography course.
Some great shots there. I've been trying to save up for a decent tripod and some ND filters to do the long exposures. I quite like the Ansel adams type shots as well.

great portfolio Zok, what do you use for your underwater shots; a waterproff case or a specialised camera?

Nothing very exciting really, just one of the risks of taking electronic equipment into an environment it not intended for although I will say that, camera electronics + 4 powerful Nimh batteries + dash of sea water = fking hell, that’s hot.

Thats basic physics for ya. Sucks when it happens to high value equipment though
