If you are planning to apply to the Silver Oak Guardians for either Guardian or Defender membership then you need to include an Allakhazam profile (Soldier membership applications do not need to include a profile link). This post explains how to obtain an Allakhazam profile.
If an application is incomplete or you can't be bothered to include a link to an Allakhazam profile (http://wow.allakhazam.com/Wowreader.html) then please do not be surprised if we are less than interested in your application.
Note: Some people submit a CTprofile instead of Allakhazam. Please be aware that as the CTprofiles website fails to load properly 80% of the time you are likely to see a proportionate decrease in your chance of getting into SoG. If we can't see the details of the person we're considering (gear, repuation, talaent build etc) then you probably will not get in. So please use Allakhazam as requested. If you have a specific issue with Allakhazam that prevents you from doing so then please PM Bastet and explain why. We will then advise you if we will accept an alternative profile and what needs to be included in it.Follow these instructions to make your own allakhazam profile:
- go to http://wow.allakhazam.com/ (http://wow.allakhazam.com/)
- Click Download Wowreader... from the side menu bar
- Click Download WowReader and save somewhere
- While it downloads click Login/User... from the side menu bar
- Click Create Account...
- Type in a desired account name and a valid email
- After a while you get a mail:

- Open the downloaded file and follow on screen instructions.
- Start Wowreader
- Go to options > Login > Type in account/password and hit save
- Click on W icon and the game will load.
- Log in the characters you wish to upload, then exit game
- Hit upload
- If you log in to the Allakhazam website and click on My Characters you will see your character's details, click on your character name to go to your profile page.
- The url of the profile page is the one you should paste into any application or post needing your profile.
