Just a quick reminder as to why I use Hi-Velocity as my ISP.
Hi-Veloicity host our forums, the game servers, our VOIP servers and everything we do. The ping says it all.

Tealeaf omitted to say he lives next door to them :narnar:
Err, nope. Docklands is a wee bit too expensive. Good old (and cheap) Milton Keynes for me :D

Prior to the new server installation my ping was 45-47ms. After the new server I am most of the time 50-59ms. Not that it matter much I guess, but I wonder why?

...and this is why I don't:
Tracert? Or is that taken whilst downloading your penguin pr0n? :norty:
If you don't use them, how is posting a ping relevant?
Or is that historical stuff and again irrelevant?
TL.
/deletes Doggers tracert to the North Pole via Pengiun ISP as everyone knows penguins only live in the antarctic.

Doubt it's anything to do with the new server. Checking your own tracert for your own problems would be a good start. Asking us to diagnose and comment before knowing where and how you are ocnnecting from is kind of a tough one to answer ;)
For me, using Hi-V as my ISP, I get bloody fast connection through to the dMw servers.

I have tracert my way to dmw and everything looks the same as far as I can remember. It came to be the very day the server was put up and has been so ever since. So whether it in any way could be related to the server was in fact my question.
I will look at the transit IPs some more.

my ISP is TDC, the largest in DK and the most reliable but me e-mail to them about this kinda freaked them out. I have received mail from 4 different departments claiming that this is the responsibility of the other LOL. And I am a business client who pay extra for good service :roflmao: ... eh... :(
Thats quite possibly the worst trace I have ever seen :)
Just noticed this...

"Self-applied" after you sent me a couple of PMs telling me to button it.
And you complain about ME trying to spin things?
JHFC.
Doggers, you need to relax a bit or something. I sent you a PM asking you to think about what you wrote. You clearly agreed with the comments as you decided to edit out and delete your own comments. You also added an "I've been gagged" comment. On the basis that I or any other Admin never gagged you, I figured it fair play to add the comment to make sure that people knew that you were not gagged by anyone other than yourself and that your comments were clearly another 'DM' comedy moment. So no, it's not spin, it's just an absolutely clear recollection of the way it happened - please don't try to turn into something it's not.

This:

is just wishful thinking. The post were deleted and tagged
because you made it quite clear you didn't approve of them and I didn't particularly appreciate the prospect of a further string of finger-wagging PMs.
QuoteI figured it fair play to add the comment to make sure that people knew that you were not gagged by anyone other than yourself and that your comments were clearly another 'DM' comedy moment.
I just bet you figured that. Not content to try and bollock me behind the scenes, you want to discredit my objection in public.
Let's "make sure that people know that" too, eh?
You've made your views abundantly clear as have I and I am therefore closing the thread as this is not productive. If you would like to continue this discussion then please send me a PM where I will be happy to converse further with you.
