its easier to go here (http://www.elevenoverzero.com/) and select the link to Wivenhoe at PlanetPhillip. OBs link gives me an error as you are not allowed to direct link to his site.

check the filesize of the zip you got to see if it is indeed 123Mb and/or try downloading the new 24Mb compressed (.rar) version maybe?

Do other .zip files unzip okay on your pc?

Almost there Blunt.

Underneath winven-for1 there should be a directory called TheFallOfRavenholm.  That's the directory that needs to be in C:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\

Just cut it, paste it at the level above, and delete winven-for1

Job done.

It isnt really worth a lot of trouble to be honest. Its good for a mod, but it doesnt really add a lot, apart from the first stealth section being rather hard. The "scary bits" aren't. The big fight sequences are quite fun though.

I've been playing this a couple of times...
the sneaky section at the start was hard...I couldn't figure a way to get through for ages...eventually I leapt on the 1st guard, crow barring some health out of him, then ran like a nutter towards the exit...not very tactical, but effective...I guess the "AI" doesn't account for someone without any "I" :P

The next sections were a promenade...but now I'm on a Bridge with 1000's of giant cricket type things, 4 useless companions and 2 flying gunships
Experience tells me this must be the end bit, and I have to cross or blow the bridge, but it seems there is a never ending supply of crickets  <_<

anyone bothered finishing this?

I got past the sneak point, up the dam and then down into the building to where there are cars stuck inside a fog filled room.  I think I hit a power button the wall and then haven't been back to see what that affected in the game.

Yes, your at the end.  Protect the girl setting the bomb on the car , once it blows and you've killed everything you walk up to the tunnel and that's it.

Unlocks a door back a bit ... top of a metal ramp that has few boxes stacked at the bottom, shovel leaning against the wall

Thanks, that was fairly simple.

Not bad, a little short, but not bad.

I ended up putting the turret on the LH side just over the car.  On the RH side it always seemed to shoot the person in front planting the charges and the darn rocket sniper dude always shot it off the bridge.  On the LH side, the antlions would jump to attack it and just fall off the bridge on the jump over.   :lmfao:
