The ones on the net are rubbish and few and far in between. Does anyone have decent drivers that work, and do more that jsut charge the phone?
I just used the ones that were supplied with the phone software - they seem to be fine for use as a modem etc
There was phone software??? On mine there wasnt a CD or anything, just the manuals

Go to:
Motorola UK (http://direct.motorola.com/eng/Web_accessories_detail.asp?Country=GBR&language=ENG&productid=30341&strPrimaryOption=Acc&lSecondaryOption=16)
and scroll down to "Mobile PhoneTools® PC620" and you can click on buy. I do not know if it should have shipped with the CD but certainly My V3 RAZR did and the USB cable too :)
It says that it isn't compatible with the v3x, and it costs £20, whereas I am a student.
Not to worry, I've found a workaround using an adapter and the card reader on my laptop
I got a cut down version of the motorola phone tools with my V3 ... but the phone I had before it was a motorola a835, and that came with a full version of the phone tools ... which simply switched to V3 mode when I plugged it in :)
[attachmentid=107]These worked for me.
Ok, all it did was just charge my phone. I think that I probably have so many different drivers installed now, Im not even sure if Im loading it with the right ones anymore, I shall give up and stick with the memory card idea methinks.
But just charging the phone is all i'd expect them to allow. :huh:
Used with the PK tools available on the web they will allow all sorts of moto hacks.
For all my old phones the drivers made them appear as another drive in my computer. Was hoping for something which did the same for motorola
