Question:
Which day is most suitable for a visit to the [OBC] server for some -=[dMw]=- squad Ranking?

Chaps,
In this thread here (http://forum.deadmen.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=12691&view=findpost&p=115463), Dewey and I hit upon the idea of organising a -=[dMw]=- away-day to the [OBC] server for some teamwork-oriented ranking.
As you may, or may not, be aware, [OBC] is the new adopted clan of Dewey, Ranger, and Paddy. I've visited their 64 player public ranked server a couple of times now, and it gets just as busy as |TG| does. However, in common with most other ranked servers, it tends to lack a teamwork element amongst the non-clan players.
Dewey has suggested we get a squad together, and head over there for an informal ranking session. Like us, [OBC] place emphasis on mature and tactical play, and (so I'm told) would be happy to have members from a like-minded community show up and have some fun. We'd get to promote teamwork, improve our squadplay, and get to work towards new weapons unlocks - can't be bad.
I emphasise this will not be a scrim against [OBC]. Just a squad of -=[dMw]=- guys visiting another clan's ranked public, to play with/against a mix of their clan members and random public players. The only difference between this, and a raid on a random public server, is we'll know some of the guys playing there.
Sunday evenings have been suggested. What I'm after just for now, is a level of interest, and a probable date. The finer details will be hashed out later, although expect it to be in the evening timewise.
What do you all think?
sounds like fun :P
we'll have to use TS though <_<

Or you could try ventrillo? I think the ingame comms also work on the server.
I'll be up for it. Any Sunday will do for me but I voted the first 1.
As long as they have the ingame Voice on we'll be fine I'd reckon.
Mixing -=[dMw]=- with [OBC] would be cool. Heck, I'd even play with Dewey... :narnar: ;)
I'm in if I'm back in time
TS might have been suggested as there is already a dMw TS server up and running?
TL.
The ingame comms dont work. Apparently its the server provider that disable it. So you will need TS.
Ranger, Paddy and myself all have scrims/practices Sundays and Mondays, however Wednesdays are generally free of scrims or practices for us *sorry not trying to be awkward* and would be a good date
good on the 5th working the 12th, free the other two
I've been on the OBC server (when I can fet on it) a few times - always a good turn out.
I'm up for it - Sundays is good for me
I probably can't make the 19th March but any of the others is fine.
Any idea what time it will be?
Hi guys,
I finally got a reply from admin regarding dMw away day on the OBC server - they apologised for the delay. They have suggested a Saturday afternoon - in the next month.
I know this might not be ideal for you guys, but OBC members are involved in scrims, ladders and practices so our time is limited.
However, we can reserve you a squad slot on one of our new servers that has VOIP activated.
Alternatively -
We've had 2 new BF2 servers come on line in the last month (with only 4 reserve slots), which as you've already found out means it maybe possible for you too come on our servers at other times as a group - and you know your more than welcome to do that.
So I'll leave it up to you guys to see if your still interested, if you can't make it on a Saturday afternoon no offence will be taken, I know its difficult to arrange everyone and in any case you can just come on whenever you like but run the risk of not being all on the same side/squad etc..
Please let me know either way as soon as you can.
ps we mentioned to some of our guys an away day on your server and explained the AAS mod, we got some interest so that maybe something we could arrange in the future- like an exchange programme? :D

This is good news. I've been to your servers plenty of times. Your reserved slot number is massive but the game play is always good. Saturdays are usually pretty good for me but I'm never on until later at night..
What's the IP of your VOIP servers?

Hi NF,
yep, should have worked, played alongside Cadaver on one of them last night. This is where you can usually find us, though we can also be found on the OBC US servers too.
