Title: Raid Rules (READ THESE FIRST)
Post by: Bastet on March 02, 2006, 04:25:53 PM
RAID RULES
(these rules have been discussed and agreed by the Officers)
The officers have discussed about letting alts into MC for the picking up of the Ancient leaf and Eye of Divinity before. We now feel its time to expand this a bit and allow alts to attend MC / OL. There will be some parameters to make sure it doesnt afflict the raid too much:

As people know we were working on a loot system.
Atm we dont think the dkp system will work cause a lot of people have the loot and lately ZG has not been done in a very good way (not enough people showing up, now that AQ is open people want to go there (thats logical ofc)). We decided to freeze the system and we decided with the officers that there will be a loot list with class prioritys. We are working on that atm. So it will follow soon. Another thing are the bijous and the coins. We liked the idea which is implemented in AQ 20 and we will be using that soon. This means that the bijous and coins will be send to Zgbank and who has the rep and the primal hakkari item can whisper me (lunares) to see if we have the other mats that are needed for them and they get them.
Also we think its needed that there will be some general rules for ZG. These are posted in the post below. If people want to have them changed whisper me, dajo, opticalrush or kregoron and we will discuss it and act to that.

The general rules for ZG runs

Some general rules concerning ZG

A note on the rules. They may sound unfair however they are here to help the raid if you do not agree on the rules plz post it on the forums and we (dajo kregoron, opticalrush or lunares) will look into it or the officers.

First of all have fun thats why you play

Guild run: A guild run is where more then 90% of the members are guildmembers.
When its a guild run the bloodvine and souldarite will go to the guild bank. However only members who actually go to ZG may take them from the bank.

We allways will try to get a balanced group with guildmembers. If this is not possible we will ask the guildmembers in the group if they have friends who would like to join or we try to invites people who have applied so we get to know each other.

The ring sets:
If you have a ring set you have priority on the other 1.
If you have 1 ring of a certain set don't roll on a ring of another set.
If more then 1 member has the other ring they will roll for it.

The ML can give a certain class piority on loot. However this must be approved by more 50% of the raid.

If there is a discussion about the loot the ML, raidleader and some officers (if they are there ) will decide what happens with the loot.

The Raidleader will say in which order we take the bosses follow him and dont start an argument. he/she will try his best looking at the balance and classes that are there.

If its a guild raid the same rules apply as if it was a normal raid this means if you leave without warning or go afk without telling or a good reason you can get kicked!!!

People can be asked to leave based on need of certain classes. This will be asked in a polite way and the classmembers may discuss who will go of them if no one will go voluntary the last one of the class who joined will be asked to leave and if he/she refuses will be kicked. Ofcourse we will try to prevent it from happening and we will warn those who may be kicked before they get an invite.

The raid is a chance for alts to get loot also so they have equal rights. This rule can be overuled by the ML and RL.

If we notice that people are here for a certain boss and do not care about helping the rest also they can be kicked from the raid.

If a Zg run will take place in 2 runs (1st day the first bosses the 2nd day the rest) then those who where in the 1st run get priority in the 2nd run. If there are still places left then they will we filled according to need.

People who have the needed rep for an item will get priority if their primal hakkari epic part drops.

If 1 of the epics mounts should drop it will be a greed roll. There is no discussion possible for this.

The Commanders have lately been working on new loot systems for both AQ and ZG. The ZG system we have been trialling for the last couple of weeks is a sort of proof of concept for the proposed new system. The ZG trial system is based on reputation levels to measure attendance. However, as AQ rep can be farmed outside of the instance, actual attendance must be measured.

Our goals were to improve over the old system in the following ways:
The Basics of the System

The principle is the same as the ZG trial system; a main character has to do x amount of raids before they can get priority, and a alt character has to do x+y amount of raids before they can get an equal priority on epic loot. With roughly 3k rep per ZG clearance, that means a main must raid ZG 3 times, and an alt 7 times before being able to get epic loot priority.

Attendance Points
Three complete raids would give 9 attendance points, and seven would give 21. These are the required attendance points for mains and alts to get priority on epic loot.
Attendance points are unique for each instance, i.e. having 21 attendance points in ZG does not get you loot priority in AQ also.
If people are not available after joining the queue and not cancelling, their signup will be cancelled. Please remain contactable while waiting in the queue and let us know if you are on a non-guild alt.

Specific Loot Rules

ZG/AQ Quest Item Loot
People with required reputation for the loot get priority for the items.

ZG Trinket
Priority given to people according to who has the most number of trinket parts.
If no one has any other trinket parts, priority is given based to people with AP values of: 40 > 20 > 10 > 5 - this is roughly equivalent to what AP would be achieved at the reputation levels.

ZG Enchant
These are 20 AP for first, 40 AP for second. To be able to roll you MUST have the item you want enchanted. If no1 is Revered/Exhalted a second roll will be called for.

AQ20 Skill Books
People within 6 AP of the top person who needs the book may roll for it.
People who are not in the raid may request skill books from AQBank at any time, as long as they have 10 AP.

Recipes/Plans/Schematics/etc
First drop will be assigned to a member of the raid of Commander or higher rank in the guild.
Subsequent drops are open to all.

Epic Items
Mains with 9 attendance points and alts with 21 attendance points are given first priority. After that, open to all.

Blue Items
No priorities given, open to all.

Items will not be given class priorities (other than what is already specified in the item descriptions), however if such a situation as a rogue wanting a +healing cloak arises, exceptions can be made by the raid leaders.
