As I dont have loads and loads of time atm to go around grinding/mining, I would much appreciate any donations of Thorium ore/bars which I could use to make stuff with to level blacksmithing. If you donate anything to me, I will be happy to give you the products of the materials so you can sell them or whatever.
It would be a great help as im still a noob blacksmith :P

Maybe you can start by telling how high your skill is then we can provide the proper materials. As it's no use to give 100 copper ore as you have BS @ 225.
Also be prepared what you want to become.
@ 225 you need to make a choiche....

- Maces (not sure about last one)
Bare in mind that you need a lot of certain materials for Blacksmithing quests.

Can anyone clarify this last one? I play a Pally (thus far my only char as I only started a short while ago) and was wondering if I could specialise in making hammers (maces) or if it was just 'weapon mastery'.
You can get weapon @ 225, and then later on (when you get to winterspring and 300 skill i think off hand) you can choose Sword/Mace/Axe wich involves quests in stratholm (at least for sword/mace)

ok for armorsmithing theres no specialisation
if youre a weaponsmith you can specialise in 3 weapon types:
300 blacksmithing is a Must
quest locations: Winterspring (were the bank is)
Notice: DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OF THE QUESTS IF YOURE NOT SURE, IF YOU ACEPPT ONE OF THE QUESTS YOU CANT GO BACK.
were do the quests lead you:
Axe: LBRS (troll boss-5man only)
Sword: Strat baron (Banshee area, the plans on the right, loot plans, kill skelly)
Mace: Strat Scarlet (pre-cannon area, plans on the floor, loot plans, kill boss)
If you try to loot any of the plans and you dont have 300 in bs, then the plans Will disappear.
Well.... im 300 mining now and 280 Blacksmithing. I mentioned needing donations of Thorium, which is needed in higher end stuff too, so didnt see it neccessary to state teh level since it doesnt matter, all I need is thorium :P

Thorium Shield Spike? (if you got it)
Sharpening Stones? (im getting Huge! amounts of Dense Stone)
Might be more, could you post some info about interesting stuff you can make atm? i dont need Weapons, Armor, Rods etc. only "sellables"
