Title: Proposals for Recruitment/Advancement
Post by: OldBloke on March 07, 2006, 09:27:13 AM
Section Admins should post their nominees for Bravo/Charlie here along with any supporting material.

All Head/Section admins have the right of veto and have seven days from the initial post to exercise that veto.

[QUOTE scot]Application for Membership of Bravo Company
*Please delete as appropriate

PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW INFORMATION AS FULLY AS POSSIBLE

Proposer: Duvel
Seconded by:Browne
Seconded by:Madness

Your gaming name:scot
Your real name: Ray Addison
Age:35
Sex:Male
Country:Scotland
Date of birth:09/10/1970

Please tell us a bit about yourself. For example, how long you have been playing CS/CZ/CS:S, what interests do you have outside the playing of computer games, what do you do (work/education etc) and any other information you feel would be helpful in order for our members to get to know you.

I have been playing cz for just about a year now and dont play much other online games, might be trying gtl or similar in the future. I live in Buckie which is in Moray Scotland. Outside of cyber life i like taking a mountain bike up some of the local hills and forrestry roads. Keen beach angler for sea trout sea bass etc. and sometime amateur photographer. I recently lost my job of eleven years as a supervisor in a local factory due to continued ill health, and as such am retraining at the moment having done the ecdl and advanced word for ecdl am doing advanced excel, access and powrpoint hoping they will help me get a job. Failing that ill go to asda/tesco wherever in the meantime.

In your own words, how would you explain TCS to an outsider?
TCS is playing the game the way it was designed to be played. Its a team based mission centred tactical style of play where the team function as a unit and communicate/co-operate to complete the mission objective(S) rather than running off in all directions shooting @ everything and anything including teammates as will be found on most servers

What type of player do you think is attracted to TCS?
More mature minded team focused or tactical gamers, willing to take one for the team,(team players)more patient and more tolerant of accidents willing to teach newer players

In the previous question, which of those traits best describe you?
Mature minded (OLD )

Which do not best describe you?
Tactical(if im honest i need to learn more tactics)

Why do you wish to become more involved in our community? Please state which aspects of the next Company appeal to you.
Having had an extended time here i like it and the people that use it,and would like to get to know them even better as well as learn more about the tactical side of the game.I can be quite quiet on the posting side as i tend to only answer if i know what im on about,

How do you think you would add value to the dMw community if your application is accepted?
You can all laugh at my attempts to keep up with you guys of a Friday evening, and i can be quite helpful, if i know how to help someone i will or at least try. Im always polite and friendly on any servers and respect/follow their rules.

Have you ever been in a Clan before? If yes then which ones and why did you leave?
None

Which other games do you play?
Counterstrike cz Lack of funds at the moment but will probly have a few racing sims, and other fps as and when i can.
Do you have any questions for the Admins? (we will endeavour to answer any questions prior to assessing your application)
[/QUOTE scot]

Scot has been around for what seems like an age ....TBH I thought he was already Bravo   ..as he states, he is quite quiet on the forum but that may change with his new status. He is willing to learn the finer points and has already highlighted his need for tactics (and we know a few )  . I cannot ever remember anyone making a complaint about him, which  helped no end when he asked me to second him ...

There ya go ....my first proposal ..over to you guys !!

I'd like to propose Marduk for Bravo - he's on CSS pretty regular now and wouldn't mind helping out in matches on non-40 man raid nights (which allows up to 4 nights per week for CSS).  He'll not *live* on the CSS server, but he's a sensible guy and younger brother to Bastet.  Talked to him about matches and he would not mind helping out when he can, but he's worried he's 'not good enough' for dMw.

If you're doing Othbarty then you ought to also do his girlfriend Elenionet aka SoonJoong (sp) when on the CSS server.  They were on there just now and in despaerate need of Admin help :(  Unfortunately I was looking at something else and had forgotten to log into MSN.

I'm afraid I wouldn't be ready to promote SoonJoong as she still needs a bit more time to get a grasp of TCS.  She still tends to stray from the objective, but she is getting better.  Othbarty always plays with the objective in mind.

Unfortunately we have a rather strict firewall at work so I can't help with the admining during the day :-(

Well the good news is that I am now working from home again, so can be pretty much available a lot of the time if needed.  Fair comment about Ele, I knwo she only just started to play, but as she'll be around with Othbarty then no problems.  Did you want to go post a welcome to -=[dMw]=-Othbarty then?

He's a regular CS player on Boomer.  He's not on as often as the recent inductees, but is still a 'regular' and a heck of a lot more regular than some of our regulars!  However I do not know him as well as the others and would want to defer a week first to watch more closely than I have.

I'd like to propose Penfold for Admin (of some sort).  The guy has basically taken over the bulk of the LAN organisation from me (including taking the money and banking it etc) and has done a sterling job.  He's trustworthy, reliable, mature and basically a damn fine guy to have around the place. I think it would be appropriate to give him some recognition for that effort, even if it is only a custom admin title with no responsibility other than the lan role.  Just a thought anyway.....

I would like to recommend SITHVID for promotion to Bravo company.  Although he only signed up to the forum in December, he has been playing regularly on Boomer for a number of months and is a good mature TCS player. :)

p.s.  We probably have another four or five people who have come to Boomer and not been able to leave and who are, or will be ready for Bravo soon.  Thanks for all your support on getting Boomer to the state it's currently in with the server config/Mani/adverts and the regular rcon administration.  :thumbsup2:

and to save time valdeko (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/member.php?u=1096) aka Acid_Skass should also be promoted now that he is active on the forum.

He joined 21 days ago and has made 2 posts. I have no intention of asking for 3b to be fastracked even though she plays a good game of TCS. I think we need to stick to our rules.

He has been active on Boomer for well over a month but I would normally take the minimum month (before being considered for Bravo) from the date they register on the forum.  I have also had to warn him this week about less than friendly comments made in chat.  I would say "no" at this time.

I was thinking about this over the weekend but I'd like to get the current changes finished before thinking about further promotions.  Once we have the admin school up and running and the new server configs rolled out to all the servers we should look at the current list of Alpha/Bravo members and discuss it in the CS admin section.

Well, I the only problem I see with is that she almost only shows up on Fridays. I would like the Bravos to be slightly more active than that on the servers. However, there are plenty Bravo and Charlie that are around much less or not at all.

I think that once we get the servers sorted and have started with the admin school we need to do a complete overview regarding current bravos/charlies and who to promote from alpha and bravo. Spring cleaning. :)

Put BBB on the promotion to Bravo list until then.

Quote from: Dr Sadako;203776...I would like the Bravos to be slightly more active than that on the servers

Fair comment but in defence people do have other commitments. I, for example, only play twice a week - Mondays and Thursdays. I have other things I need and have to do (still unpacking boxes for instance :eyebrow:). I visit the forums several times a day but sometimes I just can't play as much as I'd like.

I see Bravo members more as people with a comparable state of mind and a 'marrying of gaming ideology' with the dMw ethos rather than just how regularly they play.

However I think all this is moot anyway as Whitey's already expressed a desire to embargo further promotions until the admin school / new server configs are finalised.

Quote from: Dr Sadako;203776Well, I the only problem I see with is that she almost only shows up on Fridays.

Put BBB on the promotion to Bravo list until then.

i guess my response would be that there are people who are there all the time who do not play in a TCS style. What are we looking for? More Ice Hawks?

We have a number of people at the moment that we need to look at for promotion.  I believe the criteria first and foremost is, do they play TCS.  If they don't, then it shouldn't matter how frequently they play, they shouldn't get promoted.  If they play TCS and contribute to the community (forum post, helping new members etc) then we do need to consider how frequently they participate.  I know when I was looking for promotion, I had been playing a couple of times a week regularly and was asked to attend the servers more frequently before I would be considered for promotion.  Is this something we should maintain or as long as someone meets the other requirements, should they be promoted anyway, irrespective of how often they play here?

My opinion is that for Bravo, the frequency is less important but I would expect someone looking for Bravo to attend the servers at least once per week. For Charlie they would need to be a lot more active than that.

There are a number of Alpha members who I feel are ready (or close to ready) for Bravo ( Buttafacio, Morbo, Gaara, BBB, WhiteWolf...) but as I've already said.  I'd like to get some of the other "projects" complete before having a review of both Bravo and Charlie.   Hopefully the tweaking of the SourceMod menu/filters will be complete next week (I'm planning on spending a while on it tomorrow or is that today now ) and then I can do the review next weekend.
In the meantime I would like some feedback on the frequency question though :)

Did I say that I want to promote players who do not play TCS? My post regarding spring cleaning was rather a demoting one if anything. As I said. Roll out the servers and the admin school. Clean out charlie and bravo section. Then promote those who should be promoted. That is my view of things. You asked for our opinions ...

I'm wondering whether Benny should be made a senior CS admin or something?

I'm not really 'nominating' him, more throwing it open for discussion.

I'm aware that not only may the timing not be right with the current changes, but also becoming a senior admin in no small thing.

His main attribute is his skill in calming people down and diffusing situations.

I appreciate his humour may not be in everyone's taste (he cracks me up thoug!) but he does have some sense under that flippant exterior.

Anyway food for thought........

PS. He's asking to get more involved so I guess he'll be in touch Whitey.

Maybe see how it pans out with him checking out new maps/getting involved etc and take it from there.

With regards as to was he ever an admin, I don't know. however TL or OB will know I'm sure.

Sorry, that's probably me, not sure how/were/when it started.  It was just a way of differentiating between a Junior/Public Admin and a Full blown admin with RCON access.  So in Whitey land it was Junior admin -> Senior Admin -> Head Admins. No rank redesign just a name.

I will henceforth change this to simply CS Admin or Public Admin.

As he's not a regular CS player I don't know him very well other than his forum posts (which are good). Out of curiosity, what is the criteria for someone being eligible for Charlie when they don't play CS?
Title: Proposals for Recruitment/Advancement
Post by: TeaLeaf on September 13, 2007, 09:05:12 AM
The original structure of the community led to all ranks being with reference to CS.  As CS is now only one part of what we enjoy here then so it follows that Charlie is not a CS only rank any more.  In fact, it is anomalous and will in due course be replaced by a different structure to refelct the multi-game nature of the community.  For the time being though Charlie represents almost a long-service or recognition of value to the community.  It's sort of like Bravo being able to play CS for dMw in matches,  the barriers are breaking down.

For background, Bob is an officer in SOG, international traveller to our LAN parties, also plays on our CS server (ok, not regular, but he often turns up when me, Ele, Oth or Bastet are there) and is one of the people who venture outside the SOG world into the wider dMw world - his 2,904 forum posts sort of demonstrate that!

The fella won the 'Helping Hand' award at last Autumn's LAN for building bridges and forging links between SoG and dMw amongst other things.

I think he's among those responsible for the integration of the SoG'ers into other areas of the forum and possibly deserves some recognition of that fact (even though he is misguided by not playing CS). He's also a real nice fella to boot.

I do think this is something we need to do.
My concern is that we have strict guideline for Charlie as far as CS is concerned and it may send mixed messages if we have members of Charlie who don't really play CS, but have the odd game, playing in a way we would not accept from a CS Charlie member.  In Bobs case I'm sure this won't be the case (I have played with him a few times), but it could be in future.

Quote from: VenomApplication for Membership of Bravo Company

PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW INFORMATION AS FULLY AS POSSIBLE

Proposer: Jamoe
Seconded by: Blunt
Seconded by: Penfold

Your gaming name:Venom
Your real name: Darren Hall
Age: 31
Sex: M
Country:UK
Date of birth:07/09/76

Please tell us a bit about yourself. For example, how long you have been playing CS/CZ/CS:S, what interests do you have outside the playing of computer games, what do you do (work/education etc) and any other information you feel would be helpful in order for our members to get to know you.

I currently live in London although I am originally from Manchester, I work in property finance in Mayfair on Park Lane.
I have played computer games my whole life, starting out with an Acorn Electron, I have fond memories of the Amiga A500 days and once lasted four hours on a winner stays on SNES Street fighter II tournament with a bunch of mates.
I started the road to CS:S with Halflife 2, I had and a dabble with CS:S but was initially drawn to DOD:s. After some time I joined the well respected OAP clan who take part in the ED League, I played matches and contributed to the website with art. I had a great time with OAP but my interest in the game faded and since OAP is a DOD clan only I hung up my M1 Garand and picked up an AK-47 and went in search of a good server.
People said to me, you wont find a good server for CS too many hackers and kids and at first I was considering going back to DOD until one day I came across dMw and what a breath of fresh air it was.
I am a laid back mature and friendly guy, just like the server I quickly became hooked on the server and the style of play.
TCS is the way forward I could go into detail about how and why but there is no need it just works.

In your own words, how would you explain TCS to an outsider?

Imagine your playing CS:S for your life with your friends, would you rush off and try to headshot a pack of heavy armed counter terrorists? Or would you stay with the pack take cover and hope for the best?

What type of player do you think is attracted to TCS?

Someone who is looking for the best CS:S can offer, a mature player who is willing to learn and adhere to strict but necessary rules.
TCS would appeal to a player who is looking for more than the wham bam of regular CS, a player that wants to build on his/her existing skills with added team play.

In the previous question, which of those traits best describe you?
I am a mature player who will happily stick to the rules to improve the experience

Which do not best describe you?
Increasing my skill isn’t my primary objective I play computer games for fun over kudos
Why do you wish to become more involved in our community? Please state which aspects of the next Company appeal to you.

I feel I have got to know a large number of members already involved with the clan and made some friends, I enjoy the feeling of being part of something. I would proud to wear the dMw tag and my spray and sig would look better too.

How do you think you would add value to the dMw community if your application is accepted?

I don’t think I would add anything extra special I feel I would slot nicely into the puzzle that is dMw and add to the community strength in numbers and respect.

Have you ever been in a Clan before? If yes then which ones and why did you leave?
Yeah, OAP day of defeat clan left because I no longer play DOD competitively which is the direction of the clan. Still an active forum and steam friends member.

Which other games do you play?
Oblivion, Iss pro Evo, Football manager, WOW and I dabble with emulation

Do you have any questions for the Admins? (we will endeavour to answer any questions prior to assessing your application)
Nope, I will catch you on steam!

The completed form should be forwarded by PM to the Charlie Company member who has agreed to propose your application to the Community’s Admins. The Proposer will then forward your application to the Admins for consideration.
An application for Bravo.

Post by: OldBloke on February 10, 2008, 10:47:57 AM
It's been put to me that we might want to consider awarding honourary Charlieships to the BIG guys who regularly support dMw particularly at the LAN i.e. Paddy and Dewey.

Thoughts?
Title: Proposals for Recruitment/Advancement

I agree. If we can award them 'honorary' ones which get around the problem of gaming with a different tag then I think it would be nice to do so.

They're keen supporters of the LAN including bringing along a server and it's nice to have them back here now we have started playing BF a bit more.

ghoule211 for Bravo

Quote from: Liberatorghoule211 has asked me to propose him for Bravo membership, he's been around since July last year and as far as I'm concerned he's shown an active and helpfull presence on the forums, responding to all the 'Help' posts concerning windows and is active in all the FPS games, he's a regular on Friday night MeatHook and Monday BF2.

He's joined Lumi's Ladder squad to get more active in the community and improve his technique.

Quote from: LumiGhoule is a good chap, and a fine player so, yeah i would second him.

He fills all the main criteria for a Bravo no problem.

Quote from: Nomination FormApplication for Membership of Bravo Company

PLEASE COMPLETE THE BELOW INFORMATION AS FULLY AS POSSIBLE

Proposer: Liberator
Seconded by: Sn00ks
Seconded by: Luminance

Your gaming name:
ghoule211
Your real name: Sebastian Tobias Truswell
Age: 26 (on 22/2)
Sex: Male
Country: UK
Date of birth: 22/02/1982

Please tell us a bit about yourself.
Been Playing CS:S since 2005 and a little of the old CS for a year before that (mainly home/church community LANs), been more of an unreal and battlefield fan for longer though. Outside of playing computer games I like computers, that’s pretty much all I do I build servers at home for home use (9 so far), I create small websites, application pools and such like. I basically turned my Hobby (more of a career path from the age of 6) into my full time job to get to where I am now.

Currently working for HP as a 3rd Line wintel Admin, although do Unix, AIX, Routers (hp procurve and CISCO) but primarily I am a wintel admin with all the other stuff bolted on including some DBA work..

I also enjoy cars having owned and driven some really nice cars, started with a fiat, moved to a TVR tuscan had several MR2’s and a Supra, a Skoda and my best car ever that I miss so much was the Alfa Romeo 156 v6 2.5 Veloce (the noise haunts me even now), currently driving a Jaguar x-type 2.5 Indianapolis (one of only 600 in the world). I enjoy tinkering under the bonnet of all my cars both mechanically and electronically (probs get that from being around big artic lorries and truckers all my life).

Almost forgot to mention I have a lovely wife and two daughters. Wife is 32 and is called Alison. My eldest daughter is called Olivia who is 5 and finally but not least my youngest daughter who turned one yesterday (19/02) is called Katelynne.

I’m a dog person. But we have 2 cats mystic and maulder (mother and son) who get on my nerves (I hate them and they hate me). We also have a rabbit called JR (stands for Just Rabbit) who I hand reared from her being just days old when I found her and 4 of her siblings in the back garden, we presumed that a fox had there mother, JR is the only survivor despite my best efforts..

In your own words, how would you explain TCS to an outsider?

TCS is an art form in which you try and out do your enemy using not just yourself but the whole team, its a means to accomplish the task set out by the game rather than split and go for the frags. Which to be fair isn’t very fun as when I first started with CS:S/CS you could go for hours without speaking now its about getting to know your team mates and using them to the best of your and their abilities..

What type of player do you think is attracted to TCS?

Me. Although I assume you wish for this to be elaborated upon. Ok here goes.

TCS attracts the type of person that enjoys thinking about the game at hand and how to best win in said situations, they are good planners and communicators and are competent with all weapons rather than specialising in a set range of weapons (i.e P.90 and colt). They have the maps sorted in there head and can almost read the enemies minds as to where they will be at any given moment. On the DMW servers you also have to be up for a laugh and be able to roll with the punches and not worry to much about not being the best player in the game, so long as you follow set rules and you don’t mind squonk’s planning “right lads I’ve got a plan” tis a fun night with squonk on your team

In the previous question, which of those traits best describe you?

From the above, I am a good tactician and know my way around most of the maps (not all mind you). I try not to specialise in any particular weapon groups. I’m always up for a laugh (its hard to take life serious), I enjoy trying new things on maps I enjoy the new maps on rotation gives something new to the game that you may or may not get anywhere else

Which do not best describe you?

Communications let me down a bit and it is an area where I have endeavoured to improve upon far more than actually trying hit anything (other than wall’s, floor and sky). That’s one of the reasons I joined the ladder to improve upon this skill above all else, and if from doing this my skill within the game is increased its a bonus..

Why do you wish to become more involved in our community? Please state which aspects of the next Company appeal to you.

DMW has had an appeal for me since Liberator and sn00ks (I work with both) were talking about it and decided to come on the forums and have a look around. What I saw was a thriving community of like minded persons that are not about frag counts but enjoy having a laugh at each others and there own expense, it has a diverse range of skill and age range. Also the Friday night meathook games are pretty cool with plenty of start of the weekend banter a time to relax and enjoy yourself after a hard weeks worth of stress. The forum has a lot of activity catering for all sorts, even me and for once I’m not the weird one or the loud one or the posh git I’m just a member of the community hardly noticeable within the deluge of activity.

How do you think you would add value to the dMw community if your application is accepted?
Err my contribution on the whole will be small there is no doubt about that as there are some pretty amazing people within the community with what I have seen in both BF2 and CS:S sections. I wish the BF side of things where bigger and maybe I can help this along some more and help to promote that side of things as this game will never get old for me. Also I wish the BF2142 side would get some ground (maybe a dusting off). Maybe one day I would help with the admining of the bf2/2142 servers (if 2142 ever takes off) maybe help with the AAS mod coding for new maps etc. I’m an easy going kind of guy so whatever comes my way if its meant to be it shall be although I do work hard at promoting the TCS style of play as well as AAS a to be honest it’s not the same game if your in it for the frags..

Have you ever been in a Clan before?  If yes then which ones and why did you leave?

Nope afraid not this clan/community is the first that has interested/inspired me to become a fully fledged member and stick with them..

Which other games do you play?

CS:S, portal, Hl1/2, the HL episodes, BF1942/2/2142, doom (most all of the id quake/doom collection) and the command and conquer series (I have all of them and in most cases several versions of the same game).

Do you have any questions for the Admins?
(we will endeavour to answer any questions prior to assessing your application)

None at this time, although I tend to ask/moan when needed. Ask tealeaf as I believe my first words on this server where to TL about my confirmation email so I could be un muted from posting (sorry about that)..

The completed form should be forwarded by PM to the Charlie Company member who has agreed to propose your application to the Community’s Admins.  The Proposer will then forward your application to the Admins for consideration.

I would like to propose BrotherTobious for Bravo.

I know he's not the most regular of players but I'd like to nominate him as he's a great advocate of the LANs (not that it's important but it's worth noting that he's been a generous donatee to the server fund).

Overall he's a really cracking fella and I think he'd make a great contribution.

I've also had a PM from him ref COD4:

.......................................................................................
Pen

I dont know if you are the right person to talk about this too, but hey you listen to me so it's worth a shot.

Myself and Karrde have been following your clan embrace of CoD4.  We love the game and are looking for a regular place to play.

But our little guild doesn't have enough players. So we were wondering what DMW positions would be if we signed up to DMW to play CoD4 for DMW and accept the rules and regs that comes with being part of the community.

We want to still have our own clan and will use our tags when playing other games. But when playing CoD4 we will of course if accepted use DMW tags.
Any help in this matter would be great.

Hope you and family are well and speak to you soon

Brother Tobious

..............................................................................................

I'll pm him back the standard rules regarding tags namely

Dead Men Walking - Bravo Company

Alpha Company members who have demonstrated a mature and positive approach to the community (on both the game servers and in the forums) and have been trying to increase their involvement with both the community and TCS style of play can apply for Bravo Company membership. If accepted, Bravo Company membership entitles you to use the -=[dMw]=- tag in your player name, wherever you chose to play. This in turn helps us promote the TCS style of play and further our cause! Dead Men Walking accepts that Bravo Company members are allowed to be members of other clans as well, but we ask that in such cases you only wear your -=[dMw]=- tag when playing on a TCS server. Bravo Company members have access to the private Bravo Company Secure Channel area of the forums, advance booking notice for our LAN parties and can apply for Charlie Company membership if they meet the appropriate criteria.

What say ye?

Quote from: DuVeLHi Paul/Admins,
As I've mentioned a bit before I'd like to ask the admins to give Fatdan Bravo-status.

Brief reasons;
-He joined the forum 5 February 2006 allready but doesn't post alot (positive and negative on that side but okay)
-He's allready been to several LAN's with Fatbob and Fatal;
-Also went to the Amsterdamtrip although being an Alphamember.
-Excellent guy during LANs and Amsterdam
-If he gets Bravo-status he'll be able to see the Amsterdamthread and such (and hopefully also the picturegalery that is set up).
-He's also got CoD4 so I reckon that it would be a good way for him to learn the game the good way on a -=[dMw]=-server.

Other people that know and vouch for him;
NinjaFreak;
GhostMajor;
Bastet;
Luminance.

I reckon Fatbob and Fatal aswell will also vouch.

My own view is that nice guy though he is at LANs, the fact he has only made 7 posts on the forum and we do not really see him at any other time tends to mean no.  But do others see him on XS or COD4 servers (seeing as my presence there is almost zero).

Yeah I agree, he's a strong advocate for COD4 and he seems a nice guy toboot.

On an aside, I see you're asking for more COD admin - Are people are shy about putting themselves forward? Perhaps you need to 'invite' people?

There are several regular CS admins who play regularly... What's the ideal number?

What about people like

Blunt?
SJ?
Othbarty?
Sadako?

All seem to be pretty regular and have proven themselves as CS admins.

I'd also keep an eye on Buttafacio for the future. I know he's new to Charlie, but I've noticed that if someone asks a question he's usually more than willing to help answer them.

I've had a PM from Blunt and Benny regarding promotion to Bravo for n00b and GreenYoshi.  Unfortunately GreenYoshi has only posted once on the forum, so I'll hopefully come back to him later, once he's more active.

I would like to promote n00b though, he's active on CS and the forum and is willing to help out, as can be seen from his thread on a TCS mod.

Moving him now. Go make the announcement.

Quote from: TeaLeaf;238405Any other follow up on FatDan?  Duvel chased me today for a response.

My own view is that nice guy though he is at LANs, the fact he has only made 7 posts on the forum and we do not really see him at any other time tends to mean no.  But do others see him on XS or COD4 servers (seeing as my presence there is almost zero).

TL.

FatDan has been one of the most active people on Boomer over the last month and from what I've seen I am now happy to propose him for Bravo. (he's also more active on the forum)...

I've got two chaps, both of whom are dMr admins but they don't show as admins in the forum. My selecting dMr Admin in their profile doesn't hack it! Someone please? It's Gnomie and Seany. I theng yoo.

How do you mean 'show as admins in the forum'?

Like under your name it says 'Community leader' etc. This also gives them access to the dMr admin section. nest pass?

The titles under names have gone. The badges denote the multitude of roles. Only us superbeings have titles to make it easier for people to search us out.

By assigning a member a red dMr badge they are automatically given access to the game admin section (Gandy's script).
