The following rules have been changed or are new:
Going AFK without telling an officer will result in a kick after 5 minutes.
Going AFK with telling an officer might result in the AFK period beeing extended to 15 minutes.
Going AFK just before or during a boss fight is not acceptable and will result in an instant kick. (This rule will mainly be enforced in BWL).
Argh , new rules again? il need to re-script the bot =(
sorry neff :P
Poor Neff, all the hard work you must have put down in your current bot :lmfao:
tnx for the update..should maybe ben done before you started using it....
but nice that the rules evolve so we know what we are up to :dummy:
Sometimes we se a problem during a raid , and deem it necesary to act on it during the raid ,rather then waiting til the raid is over .
This however is not desirable as rules should be set before raid and so we all know what the rules are. Tieing the officers hands and removing the option of ocasionally bending the rules is not good either,as we need to be able to addapt to new challenges.
So if something happens in a raid (rulewise) and you don't understand why it happend. Send a /w to an officer and im sure the officer wil try to answer (this may in some cases take time as sometimes officers don't pickupp all that happens .Even in officer chatt).
And I wil try to make my reply as polite as I can(I not nessesary knowing that I am rude at the moment <_< )
Edited for spelling that Spiritus pointed ut /blush  prob more still in there :(
Nice post Ragnar.. and I do understand.. (i hope) :D
But if a rule apply as you say, and it affeckt one part. Maybe officers should be willing to
check for a explainment for the conserned...(in free will, and not only when asked)..
Tnx verry much and god night :dummy:
I agree. The officers should give the affected member a whisp saying why the rule was enforced. If they cant there and then, atleast send them a "Will tell you in a moment" whisper, so they dont start spamming guildchat and such...
(Look at the time, look at the time! zzz)
The case with you sucked spiri =( you really drove fast :o But making new rules and adapting to them is our job :)
you mean the officers job neff :P
now, i meant that its officers job to make new rules , was supposed to put a "," there , but i suck :)
since i cant edit after 15 minutes, it was supposed to be :
Its officers job to make new rules and ours to addapt to them :D

For what?
If to the suggestion about giving an explanation to those concerned then we have taken it on board and we have already acted on it. Otherwise having re-read this thread I am not sure what you are waiting for....... :dummy:
TL.
Well, dont get mad at me , but Spiritus wants an apology for getting kicked even when he was within the time limit, i think so too but since i've only heard 1 view of the case i dont wanna get pwnd by any other information.
QuoteEach Raid relies heavily on the overall quality of raid members equipment. With this in mind a raid member must have at least 4 pieces of Tier 1 epic set equipment before being allowed to take a Tier 2 epic set item (Ragnaros and Onyxia drops are excepted from this rule). This is to stop people saving their DKP to jump straight from their rare Blue set to Tier 2 set items to the detriment of their fellow raid members.
That sounds good to me, since I was planning to get loot from MC before moving onto the stuff in BWL, now all I need is the stuff that I want to drop! :D
