Title: Logitech G7 Mouse
Post by: Gorion on March 15, 2006, 08:18:23 PM
anyone got it?

i just got it and replaced my mx500..

ime not that happy :/

cons:

1) clicking the middle mouse button is dam hard, due to the new tilt system
2) it doesnt work on "rough" mousepads. ive got a func1030 and it only works on the smooth side
3) its heavy
4) only 1 button on the left side, instead of 2(mx500 has 2)
5) its green/silver :(

pros:

1) no wire (my old mouse didnt bother me since the func1030 has a special "clip" to remove the wire annoyance)
2) on the fly sensitivity change (click of a button)
3) you dont regarge the mouse, but the batteries, and you have 2 batteries,
4) charging, normal mode (10hrs) or boost mode (2hrs)
5) on the fly battery switching(just press a button and it slides out

new excuse for dying in a game eh?

p.s. my mx510 is going strong, think I like logitech :D feels better than the MS thing at work.

I still havn't found a mouse that I like better then the ergonomicly shaped microsoft intelli moust with the 2 buttons on the left side. I use them for both work and play.

At home I have a thrust, excellent gaming mouse, at work a Logitech Mx 518. Both excellent.
