Title: Broodlord is a bugger

Yesterday on broodlord he was at 1% OMG and we wipend we gone from 15% to 6% with 1 tank gj all.
Tanking was a bit hard clicking my arm hurted for like 5min

But must anoing thing is my shield wall was on 10secs left before i died if some of you guys dont know what it is
- Reduces melee attacks by 75%

i had maybe stayed alive a bit longer and we could slap that 0.0001hp he got left off

Priest do a rotation on casting shield on tanks when they are hit by mortal strike from broodlord.

When you died it was my turn to shield you. Problem is, I was in the middle of casting a heal on you when he hit you with mortal strike. I figured I could finnish the heal and then shield you. That was a bad miscalculation from my part though, because you where dead before my heal landed.

Nex time, I think I'll abort the heal. That wipe was damn annoying and I've been stabbing myself in the thigh with a fork ever since.

Aye, that last 1% had to suck.  He'll go down for sure next run - and many thanks to the group that came with me and Lunares to Scholomance last night.  Full clearance of all Bosses in 33 minutes - and that includes a 5 minute break to make the Flask of Titans :toast:

Btw, anyone seen my fork?

sorry i whasnt there... realy loved to come, but didnt sleep at the lan, and i falled a sleep under the shower zo disidet to take a nap but yust waiked up the next morning :blush:

I figure it was quite good tho, considering how hard he is, we got him down on, what? 2nd try last time, 1% on first here or something?

we're getting better overall, proud to have been raiding with ya'all.

oh sitha? wouldnt it work to shield and THEN heal? ;)

Yes, which is what I would have done if I wasn't allready casting a heal when he got it by mortal strike. Trust me, next time I'll abort the heal throw up a shield first. Unless you are tanking of course. Then I'll abort my flash heal and start a 4 sec greater heal just to see you sweat for a bit :P

Imo, we can see great improvement allready, just look at how we seriously _own_ Razor, i mean i was so tired at wiping, i just dance trough it ( litteraly, i dance when tanks have agro time xD) Vael has his rough edges, but not this time, but for 14(?) days ago we took him down nice 'n clean on second try. Broodlord was getting owned too, he was just lucky;) Great tanking and healing guys and gals.

lol as I'm not even 1 point in prot spec, what you mean by 'sweat' is actually drip my viscera around the walls for you all to admire and guess what I had for lunch.

Besides, except on vael, if it get's to me tanking we're probably boned ;)

We're getting very much better at the fight and the transition through the Suppression Chamber is getting quicker and more controlled, even the Broodlord fight is getting veyr much better - we have learnt how much aggro Broodlord can take and adjusted our DPS etc to meet his aggro ceilings - we're really improving very well.  The Broodlord kill last night went extremely smoothly and looked like we had been doing it for months!

We got Firemaw down to 57% last night too and saw some real improvement in what we're doing.  It takes time to learn any new boss, the tactics and just to get used to the 'chaos' of the fight, I reckon Firemaw will go down RealSoonNow™, if not next time we encounter him.
