It was originally posted in the SoG section and I suggested he posted it out here in this topic.  It was probably a cut and paste if not moved by a moderator, hence the wording.

2GB Corsair TwinX DDR400 RAM
Nvidia Geforce 7800GTX
Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty
1x 80GB OS disk (1x Windows XP Pro, 1x linux of choice at the moment. Currently Ubuntu. Thinking of trying Gentoo)
2x 200GB data disks (mirrored RAID. I like my data)
650W Akasa ATX 2.01 PSU
Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe mobo
DVD-RW
Thermaltake Kandalf Case
about £300 worth of water cooling on the gfx card and cpu.
2x Viewsonic VP191s 19" TFTs
Creative Inspire T7900 7.1 surround sound
Razer Chameleon Plasma (i.e. blue glow instead of red or green) mouse
Saitek Eclipse keyboard

Internals (http://www.lancs.ac.uk/~meyersd/newcomp/half_size/case_final.jpg)
In place (http://www.lancs.ac.uk/~meyersd/newcomp/half_size/room_setup2.jpg) Yes, I know my room has a pink carpet and wallpaper. It was mentioned last time I posted my rig pics. The house is rented, and only for a year (student house), so i'm not allowed to change anything like that. The only reason my desk looks so clean is cos those pics were taken right after I built this rig.

I'd just bought the Nano at the same time. Apple supply two white apple logo stickers with every product you buy, so I firugred i might as well put them *somewhere*. That seemed like as good a place as any.

ThermalTake midi tower cabinet
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe mobo (old, non-E version)
AMD Athlon 3000+ (barton) w/Alpha heatsink + 18dB pabst fan
2x512 MB Hynix PC3200 (some performance model, cant remember)
ASUS R9600 XT 128MB
Dual 120GB Hitachi HDDs, RAID Stripe
LG DVD drive
16x CD-RW

19" Samsung 193P+ TFT
Klipsch 2.1 speakers
Logitech optical mouse, but with cord (I prefer it as such, a lighter mouse than those with batteries)
Old Logitech cordless desktop keyboard
Denon headphones

Nothing fancy. Can't be bothered to spend money on it anymore. I typically spend about £150 a year on average. Next update is more expensive. Besides new mobo and gfx card I would have to swap CPU also due to new sockets. Might settle for mobo and CPU to keep costs down. I plan on doing it this summer.

I do like the Armor case. The Kandalf is basically an Armor with bigger front doors. I'm beginning to wish that i'd gone for the silver (brushed aluminium) case rather than the black (steel) one though. The idea was to get everything black and blue, so it looked better, but the case is 18kg on it's own, whereas the ally version was I think 8 or 10kg. Add all the gubbins inside (including the watercooling heatblock for the gfx card, which is pretty damn chunky in it's own right) and quite a large case, and you've got a system that almost needs 2 people to lift it from floor level ;)
