Siege

CT ... hope the T rush out.

T... don't rush out. Camp the only two entrances to the hostages.

u shoot em, benny its so simple, there are a number of ct tacks to use, main ones are splitting up through 2 entrances or rushing either one. simple, also this is a map where smoke can b used to great effect, use it to shield yourself as u advance.
thats is for ct tacts.

t tacts are basically camp. thats it.
i have done a quick paint jobby for the tacts.

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/squonk_steve/...ege%20tacts.jpg (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/squonk_steve/siege%20tacts.jpg)

1+2 in sewers, as soon as u spot them run back, use the top part of the sewer as a bottle neck use the door area to get 3 or 4 ppl fireing on them.

3+4+5 watching down the tunnel , grens are very good here. one of these 3 could advance slightly, better to b 4 to take up a hidden position for an ambush as they run past.

6 - the back up man.  should keep out of the way of all grens etc if most of the team is dead go camp the hozzies if not take up a ambush position or watch the sewer, u need to watch to c if the sewer men die b4 they can report a sewer rush.

simple common sense tacts really for experenced pcs players.

what happens if as CT the T don't rush out?

Then you will lose every round unless the Ts plays like morons.

I've moved this thread to the map specific tactics section.....

Here's some 'off the cuff' tactics from me:

As T:

Sit back, encamp your position and let the CT attack, do NOT try to go out and engage them.  The only exception to this rule is if you spawn close to the exit AND you get out quick AND you have a powerful sniper rifle.  In these very rare cases you can often get to the elbow of the garage entrance and get a sniper shot off as the CTs run down towards the garage themselves.  DO NOT try to get too many shots off - they will pepper your head with lead if you do that!  Once you have popped off the sniper shot then get your knife out and RUN back to the safety of the garage interior.

I like the following T positions as numbered on the above map:

1 - Sniper situated to the right of the sand box looking at the entrance elbow (the further to the right you stand here, the quicker the angle and the better you see them).  If you get them regularly form this spot then they will start running at the corner and trying to reach the safety of the boxes on the other side - when they start doing this just move your aim to the right and hit them as they land, OR move to behind the box/car on the sewer exit side and hit them as they run towards the boxes.

2 - Bottom of sewer stairs to engage CTs when spotted
2a - Listening at top of stairs - you WILL hear them first! - take a quick pop at them as they are half way up the stairs and then back off to main garage - assume a position either behind the car or sniping from spawn door.

3 - sniping back across the garage from the car towards the sewer exit and the garage entrance.

4 - In the corner covering the sharp angle towards the box CTs often use to shelter pre-charge.  Also providing secondary coverage to the sewer exit if called.

5 - On top of or around the car (using the pillar or car as extra cover).  Good height helps shoot down on CTs.
6 - By the closest spawn pillar to allow cover of the main entrance and also secondary cover for the sewer.

Remember, there is nothing wrong with going to camp the hossies if you are out-numbered - stand on their heads, do whatever is needed, it is a match not PCS!

As CT I like the following:
- Stay right as you turn the corner towards the garage from spawn - this avoids being taken out by a cheap AWM shot.

- Take your time (unless they rush!).  If the Ts do rush out then start to camp and cover your back if you camp for too long!  Watch out for a sneaky T using the sewers if you do not have any in the sewers on that round.

- If the Ts rush then try to assume sniping positions A1, A2 and A3.

- Always have at least one person on the sewers (A4) - even if they just stay at the CT end and make sure no Ts come out to take you from behind!  Diverting their attention and making them cover both entrances EVERY round is helpful.

- if you go sewers and know there is a T there, then use a FB, particularly as you are going up the stairs - throw it up the stairwell (before you are in their line of sight) and bounce it off the wall into their line of sight.

- buy smoke grenades and FBs for the frontal attack - they are more effective than HEs on this map AND it stops the snipers picking you off all the time.  It helps to toss the smoke in first, then chuck the FBs out into the middle of the garage from behind the smoke - then charge en masse, rape, pillage etc.

- watch out for the sneaky bar steward (like me) who sits on the lefthand side of the entrance behind the boxes.  CTs have a tendency to advance around that corner and look right into the garage and forget to look left - look at the red dot for the position of the T!!  I have taken out 4 CTs with a glock from there  :D

- make sure that when you finally charge the garage you do so as a group AND have some people cover right, behind the car, sewer exit and left, left behind car, vent above car, other side of car and then finally pillars.  Share the load and make sure oyu know that all of the spots will be checked.

- rushing the garage en masse (after suitable Smoke and FB preparation usually works really well - particularly if you have a man in the sewers occupying one of the Ts).  If you do not have anyone in the sewers, be careful that you do not get shot form the narrow angle out of the sewers into the garage.

- if you get the hossies and their are few Ts left they may well try to get to the hossie rescue spot and camp it.  But they could also still be inside with the hossies.  In particular, look out for:
- a T on the glass wall above and to your left as you enter T spawn
- a T on a hossie head
- a T to the far left as you enter the ante room that approaches the hossie room with the vent exit.

- if you have the hossies and are trying to exit to the rescue spot then look out for Ts at (see the orange spots)
- a T immediately the other side of the door (at top of stairs)
- a T crouched on stairs below and to your left as you exit the door with hossies
- a T in the sewers trying to take you out as you leave the garage
- a T behind the boxes on the right at the elbow as you leave the garage (and where your main attention is towards the house and rescue point).
- a T in the house windows or on the roof.

GL & HF, hope some of the above ramblings help.

there goes TL and out does me.
looking at the T tactics they are pretty much similar, for the game it would b good to have "roaming" t's so that the main points are coverd but we dont get to predicatable.

np TL

just proved my point that it should b a really easy map to def as there are only 2 entry points and only a certain amount of ways to def it.

we could always just camp the hozzie rooms, 3 ppl in each room!
