Title: About warlocks and lifetap
Post by: Bob on March 26, 2006, 05:26:05 PM
Yesterday I joined a group for UBRS.  It wasn't really a PuG, cause almost 10 of the players were from the same guild (Silver Legion).  The run was actually very well structured, and we didn't really have any problems at all in there.

Well - no problems isn't totally true.  At least not from a healer's point of view...

There were two warlocks in the raid, and one of theme were extremly "trigger happy" with his lifetap.  He used it after every single fight, and he also happened to use it mid-fight some times
At least for those of you that are healers, you know the fealing when you suddenly see somebody drop like a rock on your emergency monitor, and finally I got tired of it and decided to ask him to chill a bit with the lifetap.

First I actually managed to ask the wrong lock (Globjuggler) of the two - but actually that was a good thing, cause he gave me exactly the answer I would like to have :)  But when I asked the loony lock (Gummie) - well, you can just see for yourself how the conversation went...

What do one say to people who are like that

Yeah, can you get this guy???  How can "be afk a lot" be a reason for not using Lifetap??  Or rather, does that mean that you SHOULD use Lifetap whenever you're not AFK....

Yeah, about that feign death: you can also take a look on the post I made after doing a 5man BRD run with 3 (THREE!!!) hunters (and another druid) (http://forum.deadmen.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=13232)...  Try to imagine having 3/5 of your party feigning death all the time   shure makes you sweat  :)

Threb I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS have locks turned off on the emergency monitor for that reason.

I know the name gummie from somewhere, but I can't remember where. I clearly remember it was something bad though.
You should have asked him for a healthstone every 2 minutes or something :P
