As some of you might have noticed priests got a new toy in the latest patch, the Lightwell. It was put up on several bosses in MC yesterday. I looked around and after a while I noticed all of them where gone. My question is, did people actually use it or did they just time out? The duration on them is pretty short, only 3 min.
well sometimes i used them, they do timeout real quick tho..
heres a good tip from my perspective on how to really use it good on geddon:
lets say we have 3 wells, one in each corner and one in the middle corner, put them were the wall is, and when someone is the bomb they pass by it and click on the run.. that could save some lives :)
You also should whisper Luthor to ask for FW as you pass the Lightwell as he needs the whisper to remind him to trigger the special FW function on it.
Oh yeah, then you need to trade Lucian for the rope and bucket that goes with the well.

And you need TL's Permittion to actually use it , or else he'l give you a debuff worse than Shadow flame,Without the cloak(!)

Yes, this is very important. To not misuse the lightwell please ask TL in /whisper if you can use a lightwell before using it. Thanks for pointing that out Neff.
ive had another brilliant idea
just before the sons are totally killed @raggy, put a lightwell up in the mt tanking spot, that way we could use it as a last resort ;)

The thing is, it adds a heal over time that breaks if you take damage. So not really usefull for MT.
yeah.. but it has an 800 instant heal :P so its more usefull than you can imagine ;)

Lightwell is a channeled effect. SO if you get damage the effect is cancelled. In my opinion lightwell is for the non MT's so we can focus on the MT. It heals for 1600 hp
over 10 sec.

Well its not been worse its been more "nice" to have the attention instead of FW whispers, and yeah i forgot!

The Lightwell is being setup when the priests feel the need is there for it (dont worry we discuss it "often" in our own channel), it is NOT! made for MT's and they should not use it, unless they dont take damage atm (That means for MT's alone in BWL @ Firemaw i think).
Use the Lightwell, Well... it ONLY has 5 charges, and you can click the well as many times as you like so you can exhaust it and still only get your 1600 HP if you just tap it 5 times rapidly.
It has 3 minutes Availability, it should be more than enough for 5 charges to be used, me and (i think at least) are trying to get a "flow" in the usage of those well's so we rather have 1 up all the time than, 3 up now for a short period of time.
It has a 10 minutes Cooldown and cost 365 mana. which is like nothing, so its a really usefull tool for us guys! use it wise, if you have any doubt about its usage ask me, comment on our "usage", whisper us for a more often usage. Do anything that might help us get the best of what we have here.

One major downfall with the lightwell... Only 1 of the priests in RG1 has Divine Spirit now :(!

Well, lightwells should help the casters out at firemaw I think. Just put one in each safe spot :)
