There have been some changes to the DNS records for the //www.silveroakguardians.org domain and these are taking longer to update than usual . The changes should hav epropogated around the world's NS servers within 48 hours and the currently LAME NS servers will become authoritative NS servers. In the mean time you may not get the //www.silveroakguardians.org link to work, so apologies for the inconvenience if you have had to come to these forums via the deadmen.co.uk url. On the otherhand if you didn't get here via that url then you'll not be reading this and therefore I have no need to apologise :norty:
In other news today:
The Teamspeak server will be moved onto a different box very shortly (within the next week) so that SoG has sole use of its own TS server (the current one is shared with some dMw activities. This is because on raid nights SoG may well have over 80 people on Teamspeak (RG1 & RG2 plus other members) and the TS licence only allows 100 connections per box unless you buy a 'paid for' licence. If we keep both dMw and SoG on the same box then we will exceed 100 connections at some point RealSoonNow™.
We have therefore installed a new licence on a new box and are currently testing it. The new IP will be given out as soon as we are happy with it's settings and performance. All of the current channels will be transferred across and passwords etc will remain the same. The move will enable dMw to retain a 100 connection licence and SoG to maintain a separate 100 connection licence for our own exclusive use.
