Hot on the heals of my embarrassing error yesterday as Master Looter, I now find myself in the position of being able to appoint 7 Proxy Agents (and almost an 8th) to help pick up the Carapace Fragments when killing things down in Silithus.
If you spend time in Silithus and would like to help out by picking up the fragments (you cannot pick them up unless you are either an Agent or Proxy Agent of Nozdormu) then please let me know in game and I will meet up with you and appoint you.
Getting from Hated to Unfriendly will take another 113 x 200 Carapace Fragments, let alone getting to Exhalted, so any help is greatly appreciated.

I am already an agent/proxy/thingy, and was wondering if those of us who are get any rep at all? or is it jsut the guy who got head who gets rep?

The brood warrior sets are the only sets out there for dps warriors so I'd REALLY like to work on that rep, *Can we go to AQ40 please mommy T?*
It's only the agent at the moment who gets the rep as they are the only one able to turn in the repeatable quest AFAIAA.

Assuming no dimishing returns on the reputation bonus for the hand ins then I estimate that in order to get the required reputation you will need to hand in:
Approximately 77,272 carapace fragments to reach Exhalted.
That means doing the repeatable quest 387 times
Assuming an average of 2 fragments per kill this equates to killing about 38,636 L58-59 Elites.
Assuming you can kill a L58-59 Elite in 30 seconds and without allowing any rest and recovery time this equates to 11.7 days of solid grinding.
And this assumes you are Human and get a 10% rep bonus.
If you're not human then add 10% to all of the above :norty:
.....and that's why I'm on the look out for people to become a Proxy Agent!

I'll try to appoint everyone in this thread ASAP. I need to actually be within range when I do it and I can only do one at a time (then I have to go back to CH to get another 'unique' badge).

How does this rep thing work exactly?
The Agent (me) is the only one who can hand in the Carapace Fragments. Each turn in or 200xCarapace Fragments gives the Agent 220 rep (200 for a non-human). You start off at -36,000 Hated rep with Brood of Nozdormu. When you get to Neutral then you can start to see some benefits (quests appear and you can get access to items etc). In the mean time, a Proxy (you) can pick up the Carapace Fragments and pass them across to the Agent so that they can be turned in. The Proxy cannot turn the fragments in themselves. I figure that the Guild will need someone with good rep with Nozdormu as there are bound to be craftables or raid quests requiring rep with Nozdormu so I am going for it. I also want to complete the Scepter line just for th ehell of it, despite not being able to get the epic mount from it nowadays!
My rep is currently about -23,000 Hated, so the more carapace fragments I can get from you to hand in the merrier.
Put simply, this is the world's biggest ever rep grind :(

I know at neutral you get a rare ring, and at friendly you get an epic one.. So if the epics starts coming at friendly, what do you get at honored, revered and exalted? That gotta be some pretty amazing stuff?
But if you are the only one getting the rep, then its only the stuff for your proffesions we can get? or how does that work?
Its like other rep stuff, you get recipes etc, but afaik there isnt any recipes yet. Think its like the Furbolg rep thingy, + you need it for the AQ sets afaiaa

if you did the colossal bag quest, you get an agent thingy
and yeah, the items are pretty crazy! the tanking rings for example..and the stuff you get for killing Maws.. *open mouth*
There are some hints at new recipes including epic ones for armoursmith, swordsmith and hammersmith (none for us axies though AFAIK).
It may make some kind of sense for different professions of people to get head if this turns out to be true, to give guild most access to kit.
I'm already a proxy, so feel free to shout me if im on and not raiding, my HS is theramore so easy to get to.
(Odesa you got proxy that time we were all farming hive quests and Luthor wanted fragments) :D
