New demo looks good - feels more like the 1st Tomb Raider which was always the best.

i played the demo today, it isnt bad apart from the aiming system which is very consoly (you get this big O on the target your shooting on and stuff) but other then that it looks very nice and plays very well and ill get mine tomorrow or so :)
(one of the things i like is that you can now only carry limited stuff, dual sidearms and a main gun, 3 health kits etc)

You can choose to aim manually if you want instead of using the auto aim - makes it more of a challenge I think ;)
yes true but then you cant move anymore, and you get hit a lot more if you dont move. also i noticed there is some stupid icons 1h grab you get this fist icon and you need to hammer use a few times, or envirermental hazard and you can hammer use to use it, bit lame, id rather play w/o the warnings, but i didnt check yet if you can disable those
okee i bought and played the game for a while now and its better then the last few parts of the series if a bit short (if you only play the levels once and dont bother about the bonuses you wont spend more then 6-8 hours on it) but for once its gone back a bit too its roots, lots of traps, and more dungeons then modern (houses etc) allthough it still has a few levels.
if you go for all the bonuses youll be playing it for a long while since some a hard to find, so far i played arround 20 hours and i only got half the levels really done.
Yup, agreee. It is much more like hte original Tomb Raider which IMHO was always hte best :)
good fun, but not quite enough flipping around and crawling along ledges ... need more of that, more I tell you! :) i.e. game was a bit short in the end...

I agree there monkey, great game, going back to the essence of the series, and some new stuff (like the interactive cutscenes), more realistic w/ weaponry, but at the end you get a bit of a thats it? feeling.
Shame the full game looks like to be with Starforce protection :S

no it isn't? At least I don't think it was what with the availability of a no-cd patch and all...
ye just remember that they removed it again right before launch as too many has props with starforce.. seems they will remove starforce from Spellforce 2 as well.
