I beth goblin will be the new alliance race.
(2nd gnommies so they not the only small once anny more)
what you all thinking the best chance is?
It won't be goblins, as Blizzard have said the new race will have strong ties to Outlands and are all ready currently in game. The only 2 other races, besides blood elves, that meet this criteria are Draenai and Ogres. Since the Draenai look like a punch of weak junkies I think I'd prefer Ogres, but it will probably be Draenai anyway :(
Give us Muuuurloooocs!
Im gonna say Dajo's. We're gonna have a new race called the Dajo. Chubby little characters who fake other classes, in this case rogues :)
if you think Dranei are weak.. youre mental...
they are born assasins, and their stealth tactics are umatched, they also have a shamanistic background..

woot shammy in alliance ? droooll
The Draenei in Blasted Lands are mutated and worn by the war and theyr homesickness,
they are really more like humans in size and what gorion said.
And check out this WoWWiki site Draenei Rumor (http://www.wowwiki.com/Draenei_Rumor)
Blizz said they gonna give the Alliance a "cool" race in an interview with Gamespot and Ogres + Draenais certainly don't look cool to me.
Well, after reading up on the Dranei it wouldn´t be so bad I guess. I might even roll a Dranei rogue.
I found this in the article Tanales posted though, which is kind of worrying. Dranei druids?! /no
QuoteEven Shaman, which seems to be a part of their race in TFT, can be cut out: First off, the Alliance is not likely to EVER get a race with the Shaman class. Secondly, the Draenei have no lore-based history as a shamanistic race - the only evidence for them being shamanistic is the abilities of some Draenei units in TFT. In lore the Draenei are always kept seperate from the term "shamanistic" when the races of Draenor are spoken of (It is always "The shamanistic Orcs and the peaceful Draenei" - never "The shamanistic Orcs and Draenei") So the "shamanistic" traits apparently shown by their units in TFT could easily be glossed over, to be replaced with a more "druidic" culture that would support the Druid class as stated above
they have a good connection with the "earth" sort of tauren..so why not..
but they are buttugly :(
Yes the ones in swamp of sorrows and blasted lands are ugly but not all draenei looks like,
they where once a proud tall race about the same height and posture as humans, just got a diffrent face and skin color.
Read the WoWWiki site i posted a bit up and youll see what i mean.

The reason why Blizzard needs to impelent an Alliance race that are "butt ugly", are mainly because the Asian players (this is something I read somewhere, don't quite remember where though) don't like to play "pretty" human like characters. Because of that the vaste majority of Asian players roll a Horde character.
One can also guess that that is the reason why European players prefere Alliance - we like to have "pretty" human like characters. And that's why Blizzard implemented Blood Elfs as the new Horde race, to try and get more of us Eurpoean players to roll a Horde char.
By doing this, the balance between the two factions well hopefully be a bit more balanced after the expantion :)
well my vote still go's to goblins
nothing can chance that
This is some of what is said about the dranei appearance.
QuoteAccording to Caydiem, the draenei were once a beautiful race similiar to humans - before the destruction of their world mutated them.
It is possible that a faction of draenei would somehow have avoided or reversed this mutation - meaning they would be close in appearance to the other Alliance races than to the Horde races.
In The Last Guardian, Medivh surmises that Draenor must have had "humans or near-humans."
This image from the Burning Crusade concept art features a figure some believe to be an unmutated draenei.
The symbol on its cloak is similar to the symbols featured on a new style of architecture

GIB DRANEI!
:D :D :D LOL varg3n your a tango you know that :D :D :D
Well, blizzard just blew the Forest troll theory out of the water. I've never read up on them much myself, but I heard that some had theories about the forest trolls being the new Alliance race.
QuoteLong before the rise and fall of the kingdoms of men, the Amani trolls of Lordaeron had built an enormous troll empire. After centuries of war and hate,an alliance of elves and humans finally dealt a crushing blow to the Amani when they defeated a great troll army at the foot of the Alterac Mountains. The empire did not recover from the defeat, and the trolls never rose as one nation again. Yet some forest trolls survived, each generation nurturing their hatred of the elves in the dark forests of the north for thousands of years.
Murlocs for the win
its gonne be a race that doesnt look like human, since in China and stuff alg is way under memberd due too fact that chinese like playing non humans, and here horde has that problem due to fact that we like playing human(oids), and thats why the horde got visual apealing bloodelfs ;)
lol bastet.. is that a fact? :dummy:
