Connection timed out.
Delaying for 10 seconds before reconnect...
why cant i get it working
Firstly Sheepy, if you are connecting to an ftp setup by your ISP say on some web space then you connect to port 21. You only use port 80 if they specifically tell you to use that, i.e. the server is behind an HTTP proxy or something. If you ae hosting a server on your LAN and intend using port 80 as your ftp port you have to specify that on Bullets options page and clients have to connect to whatever the server is configured to listen for.... normally ftp uses port 21 for the connection and port 20 for data transfer. But if a user connects to you using passive ftp or PASV on some clients (cute is one with PASV default) then you have a real headache on the firewall front as PASV uses random ports which only high end firewalls will handle well.
One option to open your firewall and check it works without security. If it does then work on getting your ports opened and I'd recommend using the defaults ports 20 and 21 for incoming connections and telling your users not to connect using PASV (passive) ftp. That works for me through my firewall/router, unless it's doorman connecting of course :P  8)
If you wanna hand then give me a shout on my mobile on the contacts page and I can see exactly what you're up to.
If it's the same as my accounts with crosswired, then it will be port 21. That is where you're going wrong.

Oi! None of that fiasco was my fault. I was only following instructions. That and using hookey software. If you're using a copy of Bullet from dubious sources, be ready for a rude awakening. Frightened the life out of me. :(
thanx, i had no idea what port to use so i just left it well alone at what it came up to automatically.

The thing is sheepy, an ftp program will connect automatically on 21 by default.
well it didnt, and im getting other errors now about cannot upload file coz of its name.
