i put every country i saw.. and since i knew copenhagen was in denmaerk i put denmark up.. didnt know bout zealand tho..

Anywho.. The only two airports I can come to mind off, which is accessable from a foreign country would be Billund Airport in Jutland, and the big one, Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen on Zealand..
Id recommend Kastrup Airport, but thats not my decision  :)

ppl can also drive to DK if thats what they want..

Where you should be staying I don't know.. Lots of hotels all over DK..

And I assume that quite a lot of the others here from the student's community in Ã...lesund (we haven't talked about it yet, but I think it's very likely) will come as well, and since it's gonna be Denmark, we might arrange on some driving :)

We need some arranging done on this from from Denmark people who has the time to put this effort together. I'll be happy to help out, but i'd rather not be in charge on this one.

I do suggest keeping the event in the Copenhagen area since a lot of people is living there and its the easiest place to come to (wherever you are)

I hope some DK people will take up this arrangement and make it into a huge success

Btw, i have some more ideas for the type of venue. I think we should make T-Shirts for everybody so we know who is who and generally make some fun since we are meeting anyways.

One thing im 100% sure of, is that we need BEER... LOTSA BEER  :dribble:

I don't think this should need too much organizing actually.

Flight tickets/arrangement of transport people can take care of themselves.  But if some of the locals could ckeck up on some hotel prices (and perhaps get some kind of discount offer since we're quite a lot coming), that would be nice :)

And we also need to know of a pub or two that has enough room for all of us at the same time :cheers:

Im abselutely comming, and i have no problem helping out either.

Atm tho im living in Ribe (In Jutland Denmark) so i can do that much in Copenhagen. But i should, if everything goes well, have moved there this august, so if the date is after that, i can help arrange the place we find and so on. I suggest we find a place we can rent/borrow, and is easy to find.

Also i think it would be smart if someone could find some pins (just a piece of paper on a clip) to write our ingame/offgame names on. Would make it all a bit easyer hehe.

Im counting on bringing Jariuna along too btw...but i have a strong leash on her guy's so back off!  :narnar:

The way we have it now the votes are pretty devided, so here is an idea
How about we do a Final round just between the #1 and #2

Denmark [ 18 ]   [38.30%]
Amsterdam [ 15 ]   [31.91%]
Zealand [ 1 ]   [2.13%]
Norway [ 7 ]   [14.89%]
Skegness [ 6 ]   [12.77%]

would mean that the people who voted skegness norway and zealand can vote for their second choice becos their first choice would most likely not be chosen as a location

and it would be nice to make sure in some way or an other that only people who will actualy go there vote on a location, so if someone wasnt planning on actualy going that he doesnt vote on a location

i would like to go if its amsterdam but wouldnt go to denmark ( im sure a lot of people have the same or the other way around) so i wouldnt like to see denmark win and then later find out that there would have been more people in amsterdam then there were in denmark.
or even worse have only a few turn up after the location has been voted for by 40 people :P

so i would suggest a final poll with perhaps 5 options
1: Will go to denmark
2: Might go to denmark
3: WILL go to amsterdam
4: Might go to amsterdam
5: im not leaving the savety of my dungeon/basement/house

I know the week has been set for the meeting, but I just wonder a bit about the duration.  My first thought, is that a whole week perhaps is a bit long, but perhaps a long week-end would be better, say like from Thursday till sunday or something?
If you make the event be over the week-end, you also have the possibility that people that work and can't move their hollidays also have an opportunity to attend.
